Every student in any school passes from one level to another after meeting with certain criteria. Most of the time to find out whether a student meets with such criteria or not, they are made to write tests or examinations. If the student passes the test with the desired grade, he is automatically promoted to the next level because he has fulfilled the requirements for such promotion.
We have also had few exception where exceptional students who are found to be outstandingly excellent in the current level and who are psychologically, emotionally, physically and intellectually mature to face the challenges of the next level are promoted without having to go through the traditional test or examination.
In the same way, our walk with God is progressive: gradually moving from level to level until we come to the fullness of God. Each level has its own uniqueness and sometimes comes with different requirements.
Don't be overwhelmed by the trials and addictions that comes with any phase in your life. Rather, put up a positive attitude.

As Paul rightly puts it in Romans 5:4-5
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Always focus on your destination: don't Let anything/anyone distract you.
Not everyone is serious about their life and not everyone is going in the same direction.
So, don't let anyone distract you from your purpose. Fix your gaze on your destination and always be on track.
Myopic people will always want you to share in their myopia

One of the greatest revolutionists of all time, Apostle Paul, said and I quote "...I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before"
There is much more to be achieved. You have more grounds to break.
Do not allow the achievements of yesterday blind you to the endless possibilities life has to offer you.
Celebrate the victory, set higher targets and move on.

It's your friend when you mind it and worst night mere when you don't;
In order for you to beat times at its game this year, take time seriously and do what it does. Keep moving!

On which side of the equation are you going to be in 2019?

If everyone can afford your time then you are cheap.
If there's no one that is afraid you might turn them down because they feel too inadequate or unworthy to have your your attention, then you probably have little value.
Add so much value to yourself to the point that people feel inadequate to afford you. Only then will you be able to determine how much you are priced
