*IMPORTANCE OF DIVINE DIRECTION*

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE
📖 *Isaiah 48:17* — _“Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”_


Divine direction is one of the greatest advantages a believer can have. When God directs your steps, He leads you away from unnecessary mistakes and towards His purpose, provision, protection, and blessings.
*His instructions may sometimes appear unreasonable, but obedience to His leading always produces the best outcome.*

*BENEFITS OF DIVINE DIRECTION*

1.*IT GUARANTEES SUCCESS IN YOUR ENDEAVOURS:*
_When God leads you, your efforts are not wasted._ He establishes the work of your hands and causes your labour to produce meaningful results.

*Psalm 90:17* — "And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it."

2.*IT BRINGS YOU INTO DIVINE REST:*
Divine direction saves you from the anxiety and frustration that come from making decisions solely by human understanding. When God leads, you can rest in His wisdom and ,sovereignty.

*Hebrews 4:9* — "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God."

3.*IT PUTS AN END TO FRUITLESS LABOUR (Luke 5:5–6):*
Peter and his companions had laboured throughout the night without catching anything. However, when they followed Jesus' instruction, they experienced an extraordinary result.

4.*IT LEADS TO RESTORATION AND RECOVERY (1 Samuel 30:8, 18–19):*
God's direction can take you to the place where what was lost can be recovered. David received divine instruction before pursuing the enemy and eventually recovered everything that had been taken.

5.*IT GIVES YOU BOLDNESS AND CONFIDENCE:*
Knowing that God is directing your steps gives you the courage to move forward, even when the path ahead appears uncertain. Divine direction gives assurance that you are not walking alone.

*Psalm 32:8.* — "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."

*Some believers remain stranded not because God has failed to speak, but because they receive His direction and refuse to obey it.*

*_Hearing divine instruction without acting upon it will not produce the desired result._*

*(PART TWO)*

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE
📖 *1 Chronicles 12:21–23* — _“And they helped David against the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host. For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God… to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD.”_

*THANK GOD IT'S WEDNESDAY!*

In Part One, we established that divine connections are *God-ordained relationships* that help move us towards the fulfilment of our God-given purpose.

Today we examine *_more benefits of divine connections:_*

1.*THEY OPEN DOORS OF UNCOMMON FAVOUR AND OPPORTUNITIES — (Esther 2:15–17)*

2.*THEY STRENGTHEN YOU WHEN YOU ARE WEAK OR DISCOURAGED — 1 Samuel 23:16* — "And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God."

3.*THEY HELP YOU ACCOMPLISH ASSIGNMENTS THAT MAY BE DIFFICULT TO FULFIL ALONE — Exodus 17:10–12* — "So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun."

4.*THEY PROVIDE WISDOM AND COUNSEL FOR IMPORTANT DECISIONS — Proverbs 15:22* — "Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established."

5.*THEY CAN BECOME INSTRUMENTS THROUGH WHICH GOD FULFILS HIS PROMISES CONCERNING YOUR LIFE — (1 Chronicles 12:22–23* — "For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God. And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD."

Beloved, *never despise the people God has strategically positioned around you.*
_Some people are connected to you because they carry something your destiny needs, while others are connected to you because your destiny carries something they need._

Therefore, *_pray not only for divine connections but also for the grace to maintain them._* Be trustworthy, loyal, humble, supportive, and discerning.

*_A divine connection is a gift, but how you manage that connection determines whether it becomes a blessing or a missed opportunity._*
