Adoo health initiative as a public health organisation was part of the critical stakeholders in Benue State to launch the new HIV prevention prEP Lenacapavir pre-exposure prophylaxis long acting injectable on the 12/5/2026. taken twice a year, once six months. it's not a HIv vaccine but a preventive therapy. it's safe, free of charge and available in BMMC, FMC, General hospital north bank, St. Vincent Hospital Aliade, General hospital Gboko, FSP Daudu, Teaching hospital otoukpo.
