Over the past two days, 150 humanitarian frontline workers came together for an intensive training on Disability Inclusion Programming. Participants included program officers, case workers, community mobilizers, and representatives from key Government MDAs, including Health, Social Welfare, Primary Health Care, and Rehabilitation Officers.

The training strengthened knowledge and practical skills needed to ensure that people with disabilities are included in humanitarian and community-based programs. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and shared experiences, participants explored strategies to make programs more accessible, inclusive, and responsive to diverse needs.

This important initiative is supported by the Nigerian Humanitarian Fund (NHF) and implemented by Hallmark Leadership Initiative (HALI), reaffirming our collective commitment to building systems that leave no one behind.

Together, we are advancing inclusive humanitarian work and supporting frontline workers to make lasting change in their communities.

Community Peace Dialogue in Abbaganaram, MMC
Today, a powerful step toward healing and reconciliation was taken in the heart of the Abbaganaram community, Maiduguri Metropolitan Council (MMC). Community members came together with repentant/returnee insurgents in a courageous and heartfelt dialogue aimed at fostering peace, rebuilding trust, and charting a new path forward.
The event was filled with honest conversations, shared stories of pain and resilience, and a collective commitment to move beyond the past. Elders, youth, women, and local leaders all played a role in creating a safe space for understanding and forgiveness.
This dialogue is part of ongoing efforts to promote sustainable peace, reintegration, and community-led healing. It reminds us that peace is not just the absence of conflict, itโ€™s the presence of justice, empathy, and unity.
๐Ÿ™ We thank everyone who participated and supported this initiative. Together, we are building a future where every voice matters and every life is valued.

๐ŸŽ“โœจ Empowering Girls Through Education!

At Hallmark Leadership Initiative (HALI), we believe that education is a fundamental human right and a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and inequality. Yet, many girls in our communities remain out of school due to cultural barriers, early marriage, and limited access to educational opportunities.

Through the OASIS Project, HALI conducted a nine-month non-formal coaching program for 150 out-of-school girls in sinimary IDP Camp in Mafa LGA, almiskin transit camp, Faria Camp in Jere LGA.

The program focused on literacy, numeracy, and foundational life skills, preparing them for successful integration into the formal education system.

We are proud to announce that all 150 girls have now been mainstreamed into public schools to continue their education.

Each girl received scholastic materials and admission support, ensuring they can pursue learning without barriers.

This milestone reaffirms our commitment to empowering young women and girls through access to quality education and equal opportunities.

Together, we are shaping a future where every girl learns, leads, and thrives. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ“š
