In the mystical swamp of Murkmire, a simple slime was born in an enchanted pool rich with magical energy. This slime, later named Gelmor, showed signs of intelligence, unlike its kin. Over time, it absorbed the swamp's magical flora and fauna, growing in size and awareness.
A lightning storm struck an ancient, magic-infused tree, which fell into Gelmor’s pool, infusing the slime with powerful arcane energy. This transformation allowed Gelmor to take a semi-solid form and communicate telepathically. Curious, Gelmor ventured beyond the swamp, learning and adapting from the creatures it encountered.
Discovering an abandoned wizard’s tower, Gelmor absorbed its magical essence, gaining the ability to cast spells and uncovering its origins linked to a long-lost mage's experiments. Embracing its unique existence, Gelmor became the guardian of Murkmire, maintaining the swamp's balance and protecting it from exploitation.
Thus, Gelmor, once a simple slime, evolved into a wise and powerful protector, symbolizing the magic and mystery of the world, ever watchful over its enchanted home.

In the ancient forest of Eldoria, the village of Sylphara was home to elves who revered nature and magic. Among them was Elara, a young elf with rare red hair and a natural affinity for magic. Guided by her parents, Elara learned to balance power with harmony.

One day, Elara discovered an ancient ruin deep in the forest. Inside, she found a glowing crystal that unlocked visions of a powerful mage who had protected Eldoria from a dark evil. The crystal chose Elara as its new bearer, imbuing her with immense power.

Returning to Sylphara, Elara trained under the village’s elders, mastering fire, light, and protection magic. When a dark sorcerer emerged from the ruin, seeking the crystal's power, Elara stood ready. In a fierce battle, she banished the sorcerer and sealed the ruin once more.

Hailed as a hero, Elara knew her journey was just beginning. She set out to seek other ancient magics and protect Eldoria from future threats. Thus began the legend of Elara, the red-haired elf mage, a guardian of light and balance against the encroaching darkness.

Some visual development I did for this project 🧐

Narya dalam bahasa sansekerta memiliki arti "Kuat". Nama Narya dipilih sebagai nama karakter untuk maskot Timnas Indonesia karena sejalan dengan tema yang diusung kali ini, yaitu Mendunia. Pemilihan konsep ini berdasarkan pada sebuah pemikiran jika sesuatu ingin menjadi sebuah pusat perhatian dunia, maka ia harus memiliki sifat yang kuat dalam berbagai aspek. Kekuatan dalam desain maskot ini tertuang dalam sebuah karakter burung garuda yang terinspirasi dari elang jawa, yang memiliki postur tubuh atletis dan terlihat kokoh. Gesture yang digambarkan juga memberikan kesan bahwa ia mampu melesat tinggi ke angkasa sebagai analogi untuk PSSI yang siap memberikan yang terbaik dalam menyelaraskan visi menuju indonesia emas tahun 2045.

Dalam penyajian desain maskot ini sudah dibekali dengan beberapa konsep dasar untuk karakter Narya, agar dapat diaplikasikan ke berbagai media untuk kebutuhan pengembangan sebuah IP atau intelectual property. Termasuk juga, pengaplikasiannya pada barang produksi turunan untuk kebutuhan merchandising.
