Good Friday is the most solemn day in the passion week.🎚️

A day that marks the crucifixion of Jesus.✝️

Reminding of His depth of love as He willingly endured unimaginable suffering for our salvation.❤️

On the Cross He bore the weight of humanity's sins, offering Himself as the ultimate sacrifice to restore our relationship with God.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Good Friday also calls us to examine ourselves if we're actually living in the light of His sacrifice, and are we sharing it?🤔🤔🤔

Good day everyone, and welcome.

As organizers of this youth initiative, today feels like a milestone for us. This gathering didn’t begin with a grand announcement. It began with questions — honest questions many young people kept asking us:

“What exactly are the SDGs?”
“Why should we care?”
“How does this affect my life, my community, my future?”

Those questions showed us something important:
Young people are curious, thoughtful, and eager to understand their world. But many have not had access to simple, relatable conversations about global development.

So we created this space.

A space where learning feels human.
A space where global ideas become everyday possibilities.
A space where young people can ask, explore, understand, and take small steps that create big change.

Today is not just about defining the Sustainable Development Goals.
It is about connecting those goals to issues young people face daily — education, well-being, peace, opportunity, dignity, and hope.

As organizers, we’re grateful you’re here.
You chose to spend your time learning, questioning, and growing.
That choice matters.
It means you care about your future and the communities around you.

Our hope is that this session opens your mind, fuels your confidence, and helps you see the value of your voice — because every global effort begins with ordinary people deciding to do something meaningful.

On behalf of the entire organizing team, we welcome you once again.
We’re excited to learn with you, grow with you, and take this step together. 🌿✨

Global health is not just about wanting to help.
It is about understanding the systems that drive change, the institutions involved, and where opportunities exist.

For many young people, the interest is there, but the pathway is unclear. This training is designed to provide that clarity.

Join our 2-Day Training Workshop themed Empowering the Next Generation of Health Changemakers

Gain practical insights into WHO programmes, discover opportunities for youth engagement, and understand the pathways available in public and global health.

This is about moving from interest to informed action.
