One day you realise that the best friendships are not built around who is smartest, coolest, richest, or most impressive.

They are built around character.

Find people who are kinder than you, more generous than you, more forgiving than you, and strong enough to tell you the truth about yourself.

Then value them.

Listen when they correct you. Learn from the way they live. Appreciate the qualities in them that challenge you to become a better person.

Real friendship is not just having someone who celebrates you. It is having someone you can trust with your weaknesses, your growth, and the truth.

The right friends do not simply make life more enjoyable. They make you a better human being.

And perhaps one of the greatest signs of maturity is learning to recognise such people, keep them close, and never take them for granted.

One of the most powerful beliefs you can carry is this: good things may still be ahead of you.
