After school, no job.

They call this “empowerment” — but it’s just envelopes with little money, water pumps, and the same story every election cycle.

Plateau youth, Shendam youth — we deserve REAL empowerment: skills, opportunities, and a future.

🚩 This is NOT empowerment.
This is exploitation.

POV: Plateau State graduate life — after school no job.

Instead of opportunities, they give us envelopes with small money and water pumps, calling it “empowerment.”

8 years in power, still the same story. Is this the future we worked hard for?

🚩 Wake up! A pumping machine and small penny in an envelope is NOT youth empowerment.
Real empowerment is skills, jobs, and opportunities to build our own future.

✊ Plateau Youth • Shendam Youth • Time to rise!

PLATEAU YOUTHS: FROM CERTIFICATES TO SOLUTIONS 💡

Graduation is not the finish line—it’s the beginning. Your certificate alone won’t create change. The true value of education lies in the skills and ideas you apply to solve problems around you.

Today’s world rewards solutions, not paper. Dangote solved cement scarcity 🏗️. Zuckerberg solved communication 🌍. What problem will you solve for Plateau?

Our state has challenges—agriculture 🌱, ICT 💻, waste ♻️, tourism 🏞️—but inside those challenges are opportunities waiting for bold minds.

📢 SHENDAM — Stand Up Now!
Farmers are being murdered. Youth are unemployed. Roads are broken. Lights are gone. Leaders are talking but not acting.

Every day, our future leaves on the back of a bike or in a bus — chasing survival in Jos, Abuja, or Lagos.
Our farmlands are burning, our markets are drying, our schools are emptying.
If we keep losing farmers, who will feed us?
If we keep losing youths, who will build tomorrow?

Shendam is rich in people but poor in vision — and that must change.

It’s time to:
✅ Secure our farmers from killings and attacks.
✅ Invest in technical skills and youth training.
✅ Fix our roads and electricity.
✅ Build real opportunities at home so migration becomes a choice, not a necessity.

We cannot wait for another “government promise” that dies before it starts.
This is our town. This is our right.

📢 BLACKOUT IN SHENDAM: HOW LONG WILL WE ENDURE THIS DARKNESS? ⚡

Electricity in Shendam is a ghost — seen once in a while, but mostly dead. People sleep in heat, students read with candles, barbers close shop early, and clinics use torchlight to treat patients.

We have leaders — but do they even notice?

💡 Where is the money meant for rural electrification?
💡 Why are we still buying fuel daily just to live?

Until light returns to Shendam, let’s put these questions on their tables:
Who is benefiting from our blackout? And who’s responsible for fixing it?

Youth Peacebuilding Initiatives: Empowering Shendam’s Future Leaders
Esteemed followers and community stakeholders, the untapped potential of Shendam’s youths is a vital resource for Plateau State’s stability, yet a major concern persists: chronic underinvestment in their development. With over 4,000 conflict-related deaths since 1994, the need for empowered youth leaders is urgent. Transforming the Shendam Youth Centre into a robust Skill Acquisition Centre for carpentry, tailoring, and technology training offers a solution, turning a neglected space into a beacon of hope and opportunity.
Community leaders and elites must step forward with funding and mentorship to address this critical gap. Evidence shows that skilled and supported youths reduce poverty and unrest, fostering a resilient Shendam. However, political marginalization and insufficient resources continue to stifle progress, leaving our greatest asset at risk.

🚨 Goemai Leaders, Una Really Care?

Hotels full, youths empty.

Opportunities lost. Talents wasted. Future ignored.

💔 Shendam is fertile — but no agro factory.

🎓 Goemai youths graduate — but no job.

🎨 Creativity dey — but no space to grow.

Our leaders are investing in luxury, while our future rots in silence.

This is not just failure — this is betrayal.

📢 To every Goemai elder, every Plateau politician:

👉 Na hotel go feed our future?

👉 Where is the development?

👉 Where is the hope?

If you love Goemai land, PROVE IT.

Stop building hotels.

Start building futures.

This is a wake-up call 🔔

🎙️🔥 "Weekend Controversy: Is AI Killing Original Music?" 🔥🎙️

| |

🎧 From AI-generated Drake songs to Tupac's voice on new beats — the internet is on fire 🔥 with cloned voices, fake albums, and deepfake concerts!

💡 Here's the controversy:
Big tech and random bedroom coders are using AI to recreate the voices of your favorite artists… WITHOUT permission. Some fans are vibing, others are furious.
🎤 Artists are demanding their voices be protected, while companies argue it's all about “innovation.”

👀 Questions to debate:

Is this the evolution of music or the death of originality?

Should artists own the rights to their voice forever, even after death?

Or are we entering a new era where talent is optional and AI runs the charts?
