🚨 Breaking: Federal Judge Rules Trump's LA National Guard Deployment Illegal
A federal judge has ruled that President Donald Trump's deployment of National Guard troops to Los Angeles earlier this year violated federal law. The judge's decision could impact Trump's ability to send the military into more Democratic-led cities, as he threatens to send troops into Chicago next.
📌 Key Points:
Violation of Federal Law: The judge determined that the deployment of National Guard troops to Los Angeles was unlawful, citing violations of federal law.
Implications for Future Deployments: This ruling may limit Trump's ability to deploy the military to other cities, including Chicago, where he has indicated plans to send troops.
Legal Precedents: The decision sets a significant legal precedent regarding the use of military forces in domestic law enforcement activities.
🤔 Your Thoughts:

🚨 Breaking News 🚨
Reports are making rounds that Donald Trump has ended the Secret Service protection for former Vice President Kamala Harris a security privilege that was extended by Joe Biden during his presidency.
This move is already sparking heavy debates in Washington and across social media. Critics see it as another example of Trump targeting political rivals, while others argue that Harris, no longer holding office, should not receive taxpayer-funded security beyond standard protocol.
But here’s where it gets deeper 👇👇
For Harris, this is not just about personal security it’s about political positioning. Removing her Secret Service protection sends a loud message that the Trump administration is willing to strip away institutional privileges once reserved for former top officials. Some observers believe this is also a way to clip her wings ahead of 2028, where her name could still resurface in Democratic presidential conversations.
🔎 Why this matters:
Symbolism of Power: The Secret Service isn’t just about protection, it’s a status symbol in U.S. politics. Stripping it away can be seen as a symbolic demotion.
Political Climate: It shows how America’s political divide is no longer about policy alone, but also about dismantling the legacies of opponents.
Personal Risk: Harris, as the first Black and Asian-American woman to serve as VP, remains a high-profile figure. Without that layer of protection, questions about her safety will dominate public discourse.
At the end of the day, whether you agree or not, this move tells us one thing politics in America just got even rougher.
đź’¬ What do you think? Is Trump making a bold fiscal decision, or is this political revenge at its finest?

Former Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Solomon Ehigiator Arase has p@ssed on at the age of 69 in Abuja, after battling an undisclosed ailment.
Arase, born June 21, 1956 in Edo State, was Nigeria’s 18th IGP, serving between April 2015 – June 2016. Beyond his tenure as IGP, he also chaired the Police Service Commission (PSC) after being appointed by ex-President Muhammadu Buhari in January 2023, though his role ended in mid-2024 under President Tinubu’s administration.
🎓 A scholar in uniform, Arase studied Political Science at Ahmadu Bello University, later adding a Law degree (Uniben) and a Master’s in Law (Unilag) to his portfolio.
🌍 His career spanned intelligence leadership, state policing, and even international service in Namibia under the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission. He was also a Fellow of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).
After retiring in 2016, Arase remained a respected voice in policing reforms and national security debates.
His p@ssing marks the exit of yet another figure in Nigeria’s security history a man who carried both the burden and the contradictions of the police institution.
May his soul rest in peace.
