THE SECRET TO A HAPPY NEW YEAR
The dawn of a new year, a new month, and a new day is an opportunity for a fresh start or to re-write our wrongs. This is a proof of God’s faithful love and never-ending mercies. This should be what differentiate this new year from the previous year, and it starts with what you do differently from now- the very first day of the new year and consistently from today.
Doing the same thing you did last year this new year over and over again and expecting a different result is a pure definition of insanity. Living intentionally is the secret to a happy new year. This is what detach who you are from who you become. You must be intentional about your habits, daily routines and circle of relationships. As you make a new year resolution, ensure you are conscious of the kind of relationships you keep because this will affect your productivity and every areas of your life. The relationships you keep this year can make your life more colourful or doleful, fruitful or forlorn, hopeful or woeful.
Getting over excited about the new year isn’t going to change anything overnight, its time to roll-up our sleeves and get to work.
But the real question you should ask yourself is …. Are you ready for the new year?

WHEN YOUR PARTNER IS NOT COMMITTED TO THE RELATIONSHIP.
If your partner hardly makes out time for you or invest in the relationship, it’s a sign that they are not in the relationship with you. If they are only interested in things that interest or concern them, it’s a pointer to the fact that they have logged out of the relationship. If they regularly give you flimsy reasons for not calling you or returning your calls the way they used to, it’s a cue you are in that relationship alone. If they deliberately shy away from anything that promotes intimacy or fails to recognize special day (birthday, anniversary etc.) that is connected to you, it’s an indication that you are not important to them.
When your partner truly loves you, in spite of their busy schedule, they will always make out time for you, they will always want to be around you and make you happy, and what’s important to you is ranked top on their priority list and definitely invest in you and the relationship.
