So if and had a collaboration...
The brief wrote itself honestly. The pink, the cobalt, the printed tie, the rings — it was already a Kenzo image before I touched it. All it needed was a name.
Kenzo has always been about the meeting point of things that shouldn't work together but do. Loud and considered. Structured and alive. Adams' whole look in these photos carries that same contradiction. He's dressed formally, but nothing about it feels safe.
So I didn't try to make it something else. I just gave it a stage.

This set of images have been sitting in my gallery for a while, so I decided to do something with them.
I thought to imagine DJ as a fully signed music and lifestyle brand — the kind that doesn't just sell sound, it sells a feeling. The headphones, the controller, the lollipop, the gold — it was all already there in the photos. I didn't have to invent a world, I just had to see the one that already existed and give it a name.
The brief I gave myself was simple: what would her brand look like if it had a campaign? Not a flyer, not a promo post. An actual campaign. One that could sit comfortably next to anything you'd see from a global music label.
So I built it. Pulled the colours from her skin tones and the warm studio background. Let the gold in her jewellery become the accent. Kept the copy short because she doesn't need a lot of words. The images do the talking. My job was just to make sure the type didn't get in the way.
Tulz already had the logo. Already had the energy. I just gave it a stage.

Nobody taught us how to charge. We figured it out the hard way — through bad clients, low payments, and moments of serious doubt.
This is the conversation I wish someone had with me earlier. If it helps even one designer today, it's worth it.
