Samsung is bringing back its classic x.5 update with One UI 8.5, skipping 8.1 and 8.1.1 entirely — the first x.5 release since One UI 2.5 four years ago. It’s based on Android 16 and expected to launch with the Galaxy S26 in early 2026, around January or February. The update will then roll out to other eligible devices.
One UI 8.5 promises smoother animations, better battery life, improved multitasking (especially for foldables and tablets), and smarter Galaxy AI tools like on-device processing and productivity features.
If your device is getting One UI 8.0, chances are high it’ll also get 8.5. Here’s the full list:

POCO has officially dropped the POCO F7 for global and Indian markets. This one’s powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, promising up to 31% better performance and 49% faster gaming than the previous gen. You get up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, with advanced cooling to keep things smooth.
Up front, there’s a bright 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. It’s protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and stays responsive even when wet.
The back has a bold Cyber Silver Edition with a unique dual-tone design and visible Snapdragon branding, or you can go with simple Black or White. For cameras, there’s a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 20MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout.
Battery’s big too: 6,500mAh globally and an even larger 7,550mAh in India, both with 90W fast charging and reverse charging in some regions. Other features include IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings, dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
It runs HyperOS based on Android 15 with four major Android updates and six years of security patches. Pricing starts at ₹31,999 in India and $399 globally, with sales kicking off July 1 on Flipkart and other stores.

Samsung has officially unveiled the Exynos 2500 on its website. This new chipset packs a 10-core CPU with a tri-cluster architecture, promising about a 15% boost in performance. Samsung also says you’ll get up to 28% better frame rates compared to previous versions, plus improved heat control and a slimmer chip design.
On the AI side, it handles cool stuff like image generation, real-time translation, and text summarization, all processed on-device.
For cameras, the Exynos 2500 supports up to a huge 320MP single sensor or a dual setup with 64MP + 32MP lenses. It can record videos in stunning 8K too.
The chip is currently in mass production. While Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed which phones will get it first, it’s widely expected to debut in the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7.

It has a 6.74” Super AMOLED FHD+ 120 Hz display. The rear has a new oval triple camera: 50MP main (OIS), 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro. A 13MP front camera sits in a teardrop notch with dual 4K recording.

Trump Mobile has launched in the US with its first phone — the gold-colored T1 — and a new wireless plan. Announced by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, it promises an affordable, America-focused option for users.
The Trump T1 Phone has a 6.78” AMOLED screen (120 Hz), in-display fingerprint, AI face unlock, Android 15, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage (expandable), a 50MP main camera with extra depth and macro lenses, and a 16MP selfie camera. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery, 20W fast charging, USB Type-C, OTG, and a headphone jack.
