OKPEBHOLO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY: RT. HON. MARCUS ONOBUN IS ABOUT TO MAKE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF HIS LIFE

Desperation for power can lead to avoidable dîsastèr!

We took our time to go round Iruekpen Ekpoma, Edo State where both Marcus Onobun, Lucky Eseigbe, Joe Edionwele and Oserheimen Osunbor hail from and asked some indigenes of the community salient questions regarding Marcus Onobun's past missteps and his present stance that seems to polarize the interest of their beloved son, Barr. Lucky Eseigbe who won the recently conducted APC primaries ticket for Igueben, Esan West and Esan Central Federal Constituency, behold, we can boldly tell you that Iruekpen community is bàttlè ready to put Marcus Onobun where he rightly belongs this time around going by the indigenes' responses.

Recall that after Marcus Onobun testified in court against former governor, Prof Osunbor and in favour of Adams Oshiomhole, Marcus and his father were suspended by the community from participating in Iruekpen community's activities.

Those who anonymously spoke to us told Bendel Gists Blog that if Marcus Onobun drags Lucky Eseigbe any further, he will be ostracized from the community.

WHY THE DESPERATION?

Bendel Gists Blog was taken down memory lane by some of Marcus Onobun's kinsmen.

"IRUEKPEN IS SO LUCKY POLITICALLY BUT MARCUS ONOBUN IS ALWAYS A CLOG IN THEIR WHEEL OF PROGRESS."

They recalled that when Marcus Onobun contested for the APC ticket for Esan West State Constituency against another son of Iruekpen, Sir Godswill Okougbo, they categorically stated that Godswill won the primaries but Marcus Onobun's mother quickly called and reminded Senator Adams Oshiomhole how her son testified in his favour in court against his kinsman, Prof. Osunbor.

With the speed of light, Oshiomhole as the seating governor influenced and gave the ticket to Marcus Onobun on a platter leaving Godswill Okougbo in cold.

They added that Sir Godswill Okougbo took it with stoicism and never dragged Marcus Onobun to court for the sake of Iruekpen community.

They fast forwarded to when the same Marcus Onobun hurriedly dumped his State House of Assembly Speaker's position and began to scramble to desperately outsmart Chief Joe Edionwele who was seeking a re-election to go back to the House of Representatives.

Bendel Gists Blog was pointedly told that Marcus Onobun used his closeness to former governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki to dislodge Edionwele at the primaries and heaven did not fall. Joe Edionwele quietly quit and allow his kinsman, Marcus Onobun to take over.
..But why is Marcus Onobun so desperate for power not minding even if it destroys the peace and tranquility of his community?

Go to Iyamho, Oshiomhole turned it to a small London. Go to Udomi, Gov Okpebholo's community and see for yourself what Okpebholo is doing there. One man denied Iruekpen all these goodies for sèlfîsh reasons and still continues! Haba!

Instead of Marcus Onobun to be looking for means to heal old wounds, he wants to add fuel to an already burning fire by dragging Lucky Eseigbe!

OUR UNSOLICITED ADVICE FOR MARCUS ONOBUN

Dear Marcus Onobun, why not take a deep breath and use your tongue to count your teeth? Your fast lane method of politics is dàngèróûs! Slow it down and retrospect!

Why not leave Lucky Eseigbe to experience power too the same way you've been experiencing it even as a young lad?

"Leave Lucky Eseigbe alone to avoid the full wrath of Iruekpen community this time around. A word they say is enough for the wise," a message from one of the anonymous indigenes of Iruekpen.
