Shots from the inaugural Lagos Trauma Conference, where The Gov of Lagos, Gov. Sanwoolu signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Minister of State for Health, Dr. Tunji Alausa, transferring the Lagos State General Hospital in Epe to the Federal Government for conversion and upgrading into a tertiary health facility, now known as the Federal Medical Centre, Epe.
The MoU also includes plans for a School of Nursing at the
FMC, with the first set of students expected next year. Within a couple of years, there will be specialized services such as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Open Heart Surgery Unit, and Emergency and Trauma Centre.
