Yesterday at the grocery store, just as I was about to pay, a Caucasian man walked up to me and said, “I love your hair.”

He said it with so much depth and sincerity that it stayed with me long after I left the store. I thanked him, but what truly struck me was... I WAS WEARING MY NATURAL HAIR.

No fancy wig. No trendy install. Just my real hair, lovingly nurtured over time. And it hit me... We often don’t realise how beautiful what we already have is… until someone else sees it and reminds us.

But what's more important is that we recognise, FIRST, WHAT we have and WHO we are, then teach other people to recognise and respect it too.

Many of the things we celebrate didn’t look impressive in the beginning. Ten years ago, when I first started my natural hair journey, my hair looked like tiny, broken noodles. It didn’t seem like much. As a matter fact, it was "unprofessional" to some.🙄 But through intentional nurturing, patience, care, and consistency... LOOK HOW FAR IT HAS COME - despite discouraging moments and down seasons.

LISTEN... Whatever you focus on grows, and whatever you abandon shrinks.

This message goes beyond hair.
What area of your life have you left to chance? Or even abandoned completely?

What part of your life deserves more attention, more care, more intentional focus?

Anything you plant, water, prune, protect, and consistently return to, WILL BLOSSOM.

But here's what you must do:
Grow your skills...
Add your effort....
Seal with your prayers...
And trust the process.
