📢 Public Notice to PalmPay and its CEO, Chika Nwosu

It is sad and disturbing that a financial institution like PalmPay—led by CEO Chika Nwosu—allows its employees and loan recovery agents to verbally abuse customers, threaten their lives, and violate their privacy.

Customers who default due to genuine challenges—such as health conditions—are being subjected to harassment. Instead of following proper legal procedures for debt recovery, PalmPay staff go as far as:
• Threatening the lives of customers
• Insulting and shaming them
• Illegally contacting and harassing their personal contacts

This is not only unethical but also a gross violation of privacy and human rights. Loan recovery should never involve intimidation, defamation, or endangering lives.

I am calling on:
• The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC)
• The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)
• The Nigerian Police Force

…to step in and investigate PalmPay’s practices before more lives are put at risk.

To Mr. Chika Nwosu and PalmPay management: This is unacceptable. Customers deserve respect and lawful treatment, not harassment and threats.
