Putting smiles on less privileged

Who Am I?
My name is Agbasu Lucky Chinonso Vincent. I was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Like many others, I am tired—tired of corruption, a broken system, poor education, poverty, and the endless struggle for survival.
I often ask myself: for how long? Until when? Will real change ever come?
At times, it feels as though even heaven has closed its gate on this country.
But one day, I woke up angry—not the kind of anger that complains and remains silent, but the kind that demands action. I told myself, “No. This must stop.” Because if we do not end this cycle, it will eventually end us.
That moment marked a turning point.
I made the decision to build a community of people who are just as tired, just as determined, and just as hopeful. A community that does not wait endlessly for government intervention, but instead believes in structure, unity, responsibility, and purpose.
That vision gave birth to The St Vincent Community (St Vincent FC) —
a nation within a nation.

In our pursuit of building this new nation, we examined the deep-rooted problems of the old one and discovered that the greatest challenges exist at the grassroots level. Poverty, lack of opportunity, and especially computer illiteracy continue to deny millions access to progress in a digital world.
To address these issues, we established the “St Vincent Grassroots Empowerment Initiative”.

This initiative is designed to end computer illiteracy by providing basic computer education for all, with strong emphasis on “catchthemyoung”. We believe that early exposure to digital skills equips children and young people with the confidence and competence to compete, create, and thrive globally.
Beyond education, the initiative focuses on grassroots empowerment—providing practical skills, opportunities, and knowledge that promote self-reliance, reduce poverty, and restore dignity.
Through education, empowerment, and community development, the St Vincent Grassroots Empowerment Initiative is laying the foundation for a stronger, capable generation and working toward the creation of a truly better nation.✌️
