Day 50 Update - "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" Challenge

I draw inspiration from Rike Kristos , who conquered a remarkable 120-day challenge. While I've never met him, his achievement leaves me in awe. Today marks my 50th day on my personal journey, and I'm committed to extending it to 100 days, and eventually emulating Dr Shogo impressive 365-day feat.

The essence of this challenge lies in sharing my visual storytelling journey and skills with my dedicated followers. Simultaneously, I aim to leverage this endeavor to attract prospective clients for my photography and video production services.

The adage "Out of sight, out of mind" strongly resonates with me. I firmly believe that if we don't keep our goals in our line of sight, they risk slipping from our memory. Hence, I've devoted myself to daily updates about my challenge. This practice not only keeps me accountable but also propels my motivation.

I extend heartfelt gratitude to my supportive followers who have been unwavering in their encouragement. Their cheers and guidance have been indispensable in maintaining my focus. This journey has been laden with challenges; a few days were missed due to prior commitments. However, amidst it all, I've witnessed progress. Many have joined me in hands-on photography mentoring, and our storytelling community has burgeoned.

Personally, the first 50 days have brought forth enhanced skills, amplified confidence, and fresh opportunities. I encourage you, my friends, to embrace this challenge or forge your own path towards goal-setting.

Here are some daily topics to share:

1. Chronicle your journey, embracing the highs, lows, and lessons learned.
2. Shed light on your business services.
3. Offer productive solutions for challenges in your field.
4. Share motivational tips to stay on track.

Whether you schedule your posts or share spontaneously, the key lies in imparting value daily. My approach has been to post as frequently as possible, striving to disseminate wisdom with each entry. The aim is to pin these experiences to the board and mark each day's triumph.

You're more than capable of this endeavor too. At day's end, positive results await. 🥂 To the upcoming and of continued value.

Thank you for accompanying me on this expedition!

African Drums: The Batá Drum
#50/50

The Batá drum is a double-headed drum shaped like an hourglass with one end larger than the other. The percussion instrument is still used for its original purpose as part of traditional religious activities among the Yoruba.

Bata drums originated in Nigeria over 500 years ago and were primarily used for religious purposes.

The batá consists of a set of three tapered cylinders of various sizes. Iyá, the largest, is referred to as "mother drum". Itótele, the middle one, and Okónkolo, the smallest, are called "father" and "baby", respectively.

Here are some additional facts about the Batá drum:

The Batá drum is used to play a variety of rhythms, each of which has its own meaning. The rhythms are used to communicate with the gods, ancestors, and other spirits.

The Batá drum is also used to accompany dances, songs, and other performances.

The Batá drum is a sacred instrument and is only played by trained drummers.

I'm starting a new photo and video series called , which stands for "Your Favorite Nigerian Artistes."

In reality, my choice of "Your Favorite Nigerian Artistes" may not highlight any of your favorite Nigerian artistes. It's basically to show the Nigerian artistes that I've had the privilege of shooting on and off stage, in my studio, or at different locations within and outside the country.

This series mainly features some of the top Nigerian artistes, comedians, and creatives that I've had the privilege of creating content for, who also happened to be in the right place at the right time when I was creating content that resonated with me. Hence the theme, "Your Favorite Nigerian Artistes."

Forget the name abeg. Let's both enjoy the images, videos, and stories of these amazing people as they rise to fame.

The synergy between Nigerians and event celebrations is remarkable. Given the industrious nature of Nigerians, it's no surprise that they possess an equal enthusiasm for revelry and merriment.

I vividly remember an instance where the entire crowd patiently waited for approximately 6 hours until the main event headliner finally made an appearance. Remarkably, the attendees readily forgave the delay and seamlessly resumed their joyful festivities.

Forgiveness seems to be woven into our spirit.

Certainly! Here are some popular and relevant hashtags for posts related to concerts and concert photography:
