Ghanaian Man Deported From UK For Visa Overstay. A Ghanaian 🇬🇭 man who seized land in Scotland and declared himself the “Kubala King” has finally been deported from the United Kingdom after immigration officials discovered he had overstayed his visa.

Kofi Offeh, also known as “King Atehene,” gained public attention after he and two others occupied land in Jedburgh, Scotland, claiming they were reclaiming territory allegedly taken from their ancestors many years ago. The 36-year-old lived at the site with his wife, Jean Gasho, who called herself “Queen Nandi,” from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 along with another member of the group, Kaura Taylor. Authorities first issued an eviction notice in August 2025 after confirming the group had settled on private property.

They later relocated to another nearby site owned by the Scottish Borders Council, but officials continued enforcement measures Immigration authorities confirmed Offeh had violated UK visa regulations by overstaying, leading to his eventual deportation to Ghana 🇬🇭
