It's a great mandate for all believers. Matthew 28:18-20

*THE END IS NEAR, MAKE YOURSELF READY*
Read till the end...

What is going on right now is beyond the Covid-19. Its something more sinister

We must be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

In the days of Esther, everything looked good and fine. But there was a man who was friends with the king.

The Jewish people were at that time in some form of bo***ge, but enjoyed some form of liberty in a strange land.

Sometimes, you enjoy liberty but forget you are in a strange place that is not home.

Like every Christian today, the bible says we are in a journey. We are pilgrims and strangers in the earth.

While we are here, we must remember our purpose.
There's a reason why we are here, and it is for a time.
We don't belong in this system.

The Jewish people were at ease and everything looked good, until Hamaan just didn't like a certain Jewish man that he often met when he went to visit the king (Mordecai). So he decided it would be too disrespectful to go after just the one man.

Through his influence, He got the King to sign his decree.

Its amazing how much wickedness one person could execute.

The news got to the Jews, and they fasted, prayed and called to the God of heaven for deliverance. And God heard their prayer and delivered them from the hand of wicked Hamaan.

These things have happened again and again.
There are places where Christianity is completely outlawed or forbidden. You find that those countries used to have many churches before.

You ask 'what happened'? And often, there are no answers because they hadn't asked.

God would never orchestrate such a thing (anything that would forbid the gospel). Now such places people hide to talk about Jesus.

WHAT HAPPENED???
The Christians at that time in that nation were no watching. They didn't do what Jesus said.

If the Jews in Shushan had no fasted and prayed, they would have also been destroyed.

The Christians in Jerusalem as well. If they had not prayed like they did, Peter would have been killed like James was killed.

Thank God for this time you are at home. Don't worry about the virus. God is just giving us TIME to pray. Had this not happened, we wouldn't have known all the evil works that had been going on.

They think they have us on lockdown, but NO, they have given us the opportunity to hear God and pray. This is not time for wasting. It is time for prayer because your LIBERTY IS AT STAKE. YOUR PERSONAL LIFE AND FREEDOM IS AT STAKE.

You are at that time when you will determine whether you will go to heaven or go to hell.
There is DANGER that's why we are praying and fasting. We are not ignorant.

That's why we must PRAY

Pray against the works of evil and the HATRED OF CHRISTIANS that has been brewing and seems to be climaxing in many places now.

In the last few months, they have been talking about antisemitism (the hatred of Jews). Anytime you hear anything about antisemitism, just know the hatred of Christians is close by.

All these happening is just a cloak to cover the real plans of the adversary.

That's why we must pray because IT'S NOT TIME!!!

Daniel referred to the abomination of desolation. Jesus also referred to it.
2 people entered the temple and desecrated the temple by offering a pig to act like the Antichrist. But when Jesus came, he made them know that this 'phase 1' that the devil tried to play was not it.

Our fasting continues. By Friday, we will know if we will continue. But this thing....WE WILL DESTROY IT.

Where do Viruses come from? Scientists don't know because they don't exist in Nature. They are not living things. They don't reproduce, they only multiply inside their host.

They were not always there.
Anything that doesn't exist in nature is MAN MADE.
The worrisome thing for a lot of people is that they are expecting the academia to ask and answer such questions while they live in fear.

If viruses are man made, where did this latest one come from? And why does it resemble the one that had come before??

Don't let anyone deceive you. Go online and check for yourself.
Those who are against this evil having their websites and pages closed down. YouTube, etc.

It is a war that has been declared by anyone who is against covid19.

Bill Gates said we will eventually have some digital certificates to know who has been vaccinated against corona virus. An invisible "quantum dot tattoo" used to Identify vaccinated kids.
Its actually a microchip.
Isn't this the Mark of the beast?
When the microchip was tested, the team did not allow TV cameras in that year at Davos.

Now they have included these digital vaccinations into their 2020 SDGs. They want to start with the poorest countries like countries in Africa.

The 3 major thing they are working on;
1. One world Govt.
2. One world economy.
3. One world Religion.

They are trying to centralize everything.

This mark (microchip/digital ID) they want to put on people is not just a mark. It is an intelligent mark. The Bible says if anyone receives that mark, he is completely doomed. There is no forgiveness, or anything. He would have no place with God. It is the mark of a man.

There's a reason for it.
Through that mark, you can be controlled. They can control your thoughts.

The Nations that were destroyed in the old testament (e.g. Canaanites) were destroyed because they were no longer normal human beings. Fallen angels had slept with them, and as such were descendants of those beings. They we're corrupted races. Their thoughts were thoughts of devils. They were full of wickedness.

The devil is trying to push his agenda before the rapture of the church that's why we must say NO. We must pray. Don't assume another person is praying.
When this happens, there is no reversal... That's why we have to Fight it.

Now they are saying "if you don't get this vaccine, you're going to die and you will affect other people". Then they will begin to round up the Christians who say they don't want the vaccine, and treat them the way the N***s treated Jews. Terrible.

The Rapture of the church is the first thing that we should be expecting right now the church has only "2 days" to be in this world.

Matt 24: 32-34. A generation is about a hundred years according to scripture.
The fig tree is symbolic of the nation of Israel.

When it's branch is yet tender, you know that summer is near.
V29...
Jesus was talking about things that would happen in the last days after the tribulation. He was giving them the SIGN of his coming.
The elect spoken about isn't referring to Christians.
Jump to Amos 8:1-2. Refers to a basket of Summer fruit. What does it mean?
It means the gathering.
He is saying he has another harvest. He won't be with them again. He leaves them.

Back to Matt 24:32-33 This just shows the timing.

The relationship between the fig tree and the summer fruit is THE GATHERING OF THE FRUIT. This is the period where God is with the Gentiles, gathering himself a people.
V34: this refers to the generation where the fig tree has it's tender branch

From 1948, Israel became a nation. Start counting the generation from there. Take a 100 years from there. This exactly also coincides with the '2 days' spoken of.
During this 100 years from when Israel came back as a nation is when the Rapture, the middle East peace treaty, the Russian allied invasion of Isreal, the one world govt, economy and religion, the broken treaty and the great tribulation will take place

WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME.
The nearest sign we have is the gathering of Israel as a nation in 1948. Now we are in Very critical time.
Any thing you want to do for God, do it now!!!!

But we won't allow them to carry out the things which should happen after the rapture Now.

Proverbs 10: 5. Summer is gathering time.

THE GATHERING IS THE RAPTURE.
Isreal is tender currently. They are still looking for help, because they know they are surrounded by enemies.

2 Thess 2:1. that's the rapture.
V2
There is a difference between the rapture of the church, and the day of Christ.
It refers to the beginning of the millennial reign that starts with Judgement.

1 These 4:16. This is what will soon happen.
1 Cor 15:51.
We will be changed/transformed.
The world will still continue after the rapture. It's after the Rapture that they would implement their laws.

There will be Great Chaos and Judgement on earth when we get Raptured. Such that they will be so ready for a one world leader.

People are dying from covid-19 are dying because they are being left to die and not being given treatment. God will bring those who orchestrated this thing to book in Jesus name. Amen.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ANTICHRIST

Daniel 7:8, 24; 8V23-26 (NIV)
Others will give him power and Satan will give him power too.
He will be the chief of Fake news. He will cause deceit to prosper. He will take a stand against Christ but he will be destroyed.

Rev 13:1, Dan 9:26-27... This suggests that Israel would have built the 3rd temple and would have begun to offer sacrifices to God again. Isreal would be at peace because of the 7 year treaty which they would sign with the ANTICHRIST. They won't know he is the ANTICHRIST. He would be a popular, well liked person.

(first 3 and half years)
Ezekiel 38: 10-12. Russia Iran, Persia, the King of the North African countries and their allies...are being addressed here prophetically. They would attack Israel and other nations will stand idly by, no one will come to their aid, but God will intervene and deliver Israel.

After Russia and Co are defeated, the only super power would be Europe (the one that the ANTICHRIST would be leading) Rev 13:1. Refers to the Mediterranean Sea.

He would be hailed as a great leader for solving the middle East problem. His only threat would be Russia because Russia won't support the treaty. So once Russia is defeated, Europe becomes the super power.

Rev 13:4-5
People will begin to praise him for his mighty works. He would exercise his global authority for 3&1/2 years. (The second half of the 7 years)... This is the actual time the GREAT TRIBULATION will start.

Rev 13:6-7
He will make war against the Christians and Jews who would be there at that time. He would be given power to do that by the nations. (Even Satan can't give him authority to conquer Christians)

2 Thess 2:4 (one world religion)
Rev 13:8-15
The false prophet would even be given power to breathe life into the Antichrist.

V16-17: One world economy
In the hebrew text, they can use Numbers to tell a name.

The Antichrist will only be revealed at the right time if we disallow him to be revealed before then.

2 Thess 2:5-10
Remember the Parable of the 10 virgins.
Remain afire for God all the time like the 5 wise virgins.
Make yourself ready!

ATTRIBUTES OF GOD

Psalm 90:1-2

As believers, we desire to know the One we worship. Human comprehension is limited, yet understanding all we can is very beneficial—it deepens our relationship with the Father and helps us to share our faith with others. With that in mind, let’s explore four attributes of almighty God.

He is a “person” (Deut. 7:7-8). We were created with the remarkable ability to feel, reason, and make decisions. Genesis 1:26 says we were made in God’s image, so it shouldn’t surprise us that He, too, has these capacities—Scripture frequently makes mention of His feelings, like anger and love.

The Lord is spirit (John 4:22-24). Because of this, He has no limitations; He isn’t confined to a body or place, so we can worship in His presence at church while others are experiencing Him elsewhere. What’s more, His Spirit indwells each believer, so we can enjoy His presence and guidance anytime, as long as we don’t allow sin to interfere (Psalm 66:18).

God is eternal (Isa. 40:28). He always was, now is, and forever will be. Nothing existed before Him or will outlast Him.

Our Father is unchangeable (Mal. 3:6). His nature and attributes always remain constant. Yes, God experiences variety in emotions, but not in the essence of His character.

What a blessing that our holy Lord would reveal His character to us through the Bible. And how amazing that He makes it possible for us to have a relationship with Him through His Son Jesus. Praise Him for His attributes, and continue seeking to know Him better through His Word

THE GREATNESS OF GOD

Isaiah 40:12-26

When you think of God, what comes to mind? Often, people view Him in the way that best fits their particular need or situation. For example, a person who struggles with guilt might focus on the Lord’s forgiveness or holiness. And someone with a thirst for justice might dwell on the Almighty’s righteousness.

The truth is, His character encompasses far more than we could ever comprehend or even try to explain. I would never attempt to summarize such an awesome God in this devotion, but it’s important to look at Scripture in order to gain an accurate picture of the One we worship.

Today we will focus on one attribute: the Lord’s greatness. The passage from Isaiah 40 tells us that God is greater than creation (Isa. 40:12), for it was by His hands that everything we see came into being. He is higher than the nations or any idol fashioned by the finest craftsman (Isa. 40:17-20). In fact, He is above the world and all mankind (Isa. 40:22-23), surpassing even the heavens and galaxies.

Our Father’s thoughts and ways are far grander than our own (Isa. 55:9)—and lofty compared with what we can understand. Psalm 93:1 states, “The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord has clothed and girded Himself with strength.”

Consider the awesome God we serve. He truly is worthy of our praise. As we grasp even a fraction of His greatness, our response should be one of humble worship. After all, who are we that a God like this would desire our friendship—so much so that He sent His Son to die for our sins?

THE KEY TO ENDURING HARDSHIP

Genesis 50:15-21

God has given us many amazing promises in His Word. Yet, though we are assured of His steadfast love (Rom. 8:38-39), provision (2 Corinthians 9:8), and guidance (Prov. 16:9), He has not promised us an easy, trouble-free life. What we can count on, however, is that the Lord will work everything—including adversity—for our good (Rom. 8:28).

Long before Paul wrote this word of encouragement to the church at Rome, Joseph learned the same principle by experiencing its truth. His affirmation of it, however, came several years after his unfair suffering had ended. In the midst of his difficulties, it’s doubtful that he understood what God was doing in his life.

The same is true for us. When our hearts and minds are agitated because of turbulent events, it’s hard not to stare at circumstances in horror or confusion. But we must decide to believe what the Bible says about God’s character, activity, and purposes. That choice forces our attention off the storm and onto the One responsible for ushering us safely through.

In His presence, fears dwindle and doubts dissolve; peace and a sense of oneness with the Lord will take their place. Our responsibility is to keep our eyes on God and trust His Holy Spirit to provide strength, wisdom, and courage.

Turning to the Lord will not necessarily bring an end to the hardship, but He will help us see that we are exactly where He wants us. He has a reason for the discomfort and desires that we grow in Christ through it. Whatever the situation, the safest place in the world is the center of His will.

7 Proven Methods to be an Effective “Soul Winner”

Jesus told His disciples, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men" (Matthew 4:19). The implication is that if we are really following, we'll be fishing -soul-winning. Jesus' last words were, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations" (Matthew 28:19). The Christians in the New Testament went everywhere, preaching the Word (Acts 8:4).

How, then, can you and I be effective witnesses for Him?

1. Ask God to give you an evangelistic burden for others. Ask Him to help you see the world as He sees it, and to lay upon your heart a handful of people for whom you can earnestly pray. Then pray over those names every day. Keep a little prayer list, and pray for an opportunity of reaching these souls for Christ. An old song says, "Lord, lay some soul upon my heart and love that soul through me; / And may I humbly do my part to win that soul to Thee."

2. Live a consistent Christian life before these people. Jesus said, "You are the light of the world. . . . Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:14-16). We must live obedient lives of integrity and authentic faith. We must love when others hate, and forgive when others harbor grudges. We must remain trusting when others panic, and be honest when all around us are cooking the books. Not that we're going to be perfect-only Christ was sinless. But we must have a growing, maturing Christian life that others recognize and respect.

3. Build bridges to others. When the Lord shows you those needing Christ, seek to build a relationship with them. Remember how Jesus went to the home of Zacchaeus where many sinners had gathered? While we must be careful not to place ourselves in an environment where we'll be pulled down, we must be equally careful to cultivate friendships with those needing Christ. Perhaps Christ has placed you in your particular school or workplace just to reach those whom no one else can reach.

4. Learn the Gospel. Memorize the following verses and practice saying them in a mirror or to another Christian until you're comfortable sharing them with someone needing Christ: Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8; 10:9, 10, 13; 1 John 5:1, 13.

5. Watch for openings to share a word for Christ. Peter said: "Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you" (1 Peter 3:15).

6. If the right opportunity doesn't come naturally, create one. Sometimes we wait too long, looking for just the right time to invite someone to church or to share with them the message of the Gospel. There often comes a point when we must prayerfully introduce the subject and do our best to impress someone with their need for Christ.

7. Leave the results with God. We're responsible for sharing the Gospel, but only God can convert the soul. Having done your best, let Him do the rest. And if you ever feel you've botched the job, think of Edward Kimball. He was determined to win his Sunday school class to Christ, including a teenager named Dwight Moody who tended to fall asleep on Sundays. His heart pounding, Kimball entered the store where the young man worked. "I put my hand on his shoulder, and as I leaned over I placed my foot upon a shoebox. I asked him to come to Christ." It didn't seem to go well, and Kimball left thinking he had botched the job. Moody, however, left the store that day a new person and eventually became the most prominent evangelist in America during his generation

There is so much glory to discuss concerning the gospel of Jesus Christ

But if you do not understand the basics... then you will fall into the snare of clever sounding doctrine

Basic # 1...

What happened to your sin once you got saved?

1) Sin died on the cross
2) Sin was crucified in the body of Christ
3) Sin was removed as far as the east is from the west

There are two dynamics to sin

Dynamic # 1. Sin-nature called the flesh or the Adamic nature

On the cross the sin-nature was crucified with Christ hence when He died we died with Him...

ie- our sin-nature died with Him so that now it's no longer I (my sin-nature) that live but Christ (God's divine-nature) that lives in me - Gal 2:20

Hence from this moment forward I am no longer a Sinner but am now the righteousness of God in Christ - 2 Cor 5:21

The believer has the Spirit of Christ abiding in his heart and therefore is no longer a sinner but a son of God - 1 John 3:9

The believer can still display sinful behaviour but the sin-nature has been completely removed from his heart and replaced with the Divine-nature of God

Dynamic # 2. Sinful behaviour which is the result of an unrenewed mind

From birth your family, environment and friends have programmed your thinking after the world, the flesh and the devil

But since you trusted in Christ... your faith was joined to the finished work of the cross whereby you shared in the judgement upon sin and the resurrection of Christ - Rom 6:4

Now you have been born of God - John 1:12, 13

Sons and Heirs

Gal 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ Rom. 10:12; 13:14 have put on Christ.

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, (1 Cor. 12:13) there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all John 17:11; (1 Cor. 12:13; Eph. 2:15, 16) one in Christ Jesus.

29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and Gen. 12:3; 18:18; Rom. 8:17 heirs according to the promise.

Is it possible for a son and heir to display sinful behaviour?

Yes, Yes, Yes...

The cross took care of your heart... so please dont sing songs of unbelief like "Change my heart O God!" whereby you make God out to be a liar

Change my heart is the cry of a sinner not a son...

God changed your heart in the new birth... You became a NEW CREATION - 2 Cor 5:17-21

But now you must change your mind... this is called repentence ie- change the way you think... changing your mind is a daily process

Sinful behaviour is changed by changing the way we think. Here's the actual verse...

Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but Eph. 4:23; (Titus 3:5) be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may (1 Thess. 4:3) prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

God himself promises that when you reprogram your mind, your behaviour will be transformed...

God cannot lie... His word is Yes! and Amen!

Continuity in God's vineyard

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Every success achieved in life has to do with persistence(continuity)
In spreading the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ also the same thing implies as we know that the master himself is the rewarder
2 Corinthians 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2 Corinthians 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Within our strength we may be weary but God is always there to strengthen us with his holy spirit.

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

As we press towards the goal and in following the command of our master may we all gain all the rewards he has for us here in this world and in eternity through Christ our lord.Amen.

TIME FOR THE YOUNG GENERATION TO RECLAIM THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

1. PREAMBLE

One person asked the following in the comment section of our last article, "My Generation Failed You," How do the new and pure Christians take control? How do they fellowship? How do they know themselves?

I believe the Holy Spirit spoke through him. While I wouldn't characterize followers of Christ as pure Christians, I understood where he was coming from. No one is pure as all followers of Christ are sinners saved by grace. And we continue our walk in Him through that same grace.

We promised to address his questions as we are led. Hence this very important article. It is directed not just to him but to all followers of Christ, especially the younger generation. Many of you have been reading our articles on our page and our website. You all are part of the LORD'S army in the midst of a perverse generation, a generation that I believe would readily welcome the antichrist with wide open arms.

If there ever was a time when followers of Christ need to take Bible studies very seriously, it is now. Knowledge of the word enables us to truly worship God in spirit and in truth and to discern God's will. It also helps us to differentiate biblical truths from the lies spewed out daily by fallen church leaders and to confront the powers of darkness. Because you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you, we pray that, after reading this article, not minding the consequences, you will arise and begin to preach the gospel once for all delivered to the saints to those who have not yet believed.

2. SPIRITUAL EMPOWERMENT

In response to the amazed crowd on that glorious Pentecost morning, Peter still enveloped in the wondrous presence of the Holy Spirit, declared that what Joel, the prophet of God, prophesied long ago had come to pass.

"'In the last days,' God says, 'I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants--men and women alike--and they will prophesy. And I will cause wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below--blood and fire and clouds of smoke. The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and glorious day of the LORD arrives. But everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved'" (Acts 2:17-21 NLT).

That declaration was not Peter's own; the Holy Spirit was using him to pronounce that the age (Church age) of Joel's prophecy had begun. Between the apostolic time until now, followers of Christ have continued to experience God's promise in Acts 2:17-18. Acts 2:19-20 will come to pass just before the LORD's return.

Sadly, religious (organized) Christianity has been teaching the "cessation of gifts of the Holy Spirit" for centuries. It contends that spiritual empowerment and spiritual gifts ended with the death of those first witnesses. Such teaching flies in the face of Peter's speech.

Why this obvious lie? I posit two reasons: As apostasy gained upper hand in the early centuries of Christianity, church leaders lost the anointing. They could no longer receive the Spirit baptism and or exercise any of the gifts of the Spirit. But, some of their members were still receiving the Spirit baptism and exercising one or more of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. They feared that they could lose control of their congregations. Hence they had to introduce the false doctrine of "cessation of gifts of the Holy Spirit." In fact, in centuries past, groups of believers who exercised one or more spiritual gifts were persecuted. In some cases, they were excommunicated.

This false teaching means that organized Christianity does not accept that the Holy Spirit is the Advocate (Helper) who will guide Christ's Church until His return.

"And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn't looking for him and doesn't recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you" (John 14:16-17 NLT).

In our time, there are churches and ministries that teach that Spiritual empowerment continued after the death of the first witnesses. Yet, many of them shut out the Holy Spirit from their church services. Many church leaders (general overseers, pastors, etc) use the pulpit primarily to preach human-made doctrines just to enrich themselves and to increase their hold on their unwary congregations. Their greed-based preaching and motivational speeches are all about the flesh (how to prosper materially and be in good health). Messages that cater to the spirit are neglected.

God's word says, "Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God' " (Matt 15:9 NLT).

3. RELIGIOUS (ORGANIZED) CHRISTIANITY'S POWERLESSNESS AND HYPOCRISY

There are many churches and denominations in organized Christianity. Any church or denomination that has two classes of Christians, the laity (lower class) and clergy (the more privileged class) belongs to religious (organized) Christianity. The elevation of some members of the Body of Christ over other members is contrary to the LORD's command that there be no lords among His followers.

Hear God's word: "But Jesus called them to Himself and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. "Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. "And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave--" (Matt 20:25-27 NKJV).

In the New Testament, Jesus Christ is the High Priest and all who have believed are under His High Priesthood. Every believer receives one or more spiritual gifts from God. Such gift is for the good of the Church. There is no justification for the creation of clergy and laity by Religious Christianity. If a distinction is to be made, it should be between varieties of ministries and gifts (1Cor 12:4-11, Eph 1:11).

In the light of the above, we have to conclude that churches that have clergy/laity divide do not accept that all believers are under the High Priesthood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Such churches and denominations are guilty of corrupting God's word. Hence the absence of the Holy Spirit in most of their services. And the absence of the Holy Spirit is the primary reason so many churches have unbiblical practices and why they continue to teach false doctrines.

4. GOD HAS POURED OUT HIS SPIRIT ON YOU

"'In the last days,' God says, 'I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams" (Acts 2:17).

• Are you a Bible-believing-practicing Christian--an imitator of Christ (1Cor 11:1)?

• Do you believe in the inerrancy of the Scriptures (2Tim 3:16-17)?

• Are you burdened by what is going on in your church and or denomination?

• Do you have witness in your heart that some of the things coming out of the pulpit in your church are not scriptural?

• Have you been asking God to show you what you have to do?

• Are you still teachable i.e., Are you still willing to learn?

If your answer is yes to all above, then know the following:

• You are not hindering the Holy Spirit's work in your life. Wherever the Holy Spirit is not welcomed in a church gathering or ministry, there is disquiet in the hearts of those church members who have welcomed Him into their lives. The Holy Spirit cannot abide where the Lord Jesus Christ is not at the centre of worship, teaching and message.

• God is speaking to you through His word: "In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants--men and women alike--and they will prophesy" (Acts 2:18).

• Joel's prophecy is for anyone who radically commits herself to God.

"It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us" (2Cor 1:21-22 NLT).

• Now is time to step out and take your place as an empowered follower of Christ. You do not belong to an assembly where the leadership is not fully committed to God and His word.

You will be joining the band of empowered followers of Christ described below:

"But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ's triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing. To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. And who is adequate for such a task as this? YOU SEE WE ARE NOT LIKE THE MANY HUCKSTERS WHO PREACH FOR PERSONAL PROFIT. WE PREACH THE WORD OF GOD WITH SINCERITY AND WITH CHRIST'S AUTHORITY, KNOWING THAT GOD IS WATCHING US" (2Cor 2:14-17 NLT).

I put the last verse in caps because it is what differentiates true and false ministries and true and false teachers/pastors.

• False teachers/pastors are selfish while true servants of God are selfless. Every follower of Christ is a minister of God. We are priests and kings (Rev 1:6). Each of us has to find his or her calling in Christ.

• Begin to seek the LORD's face and He will surely reveal your place in the Body (hand, feet, leg, eye, mouth, etc).

"But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be? But now indeed there are many members, yet one body" (1Cor 12:18-20 NKJV).

• No matter where He places you in the Body of Christ, you must never serve with the expectation of becoming rich through taxing other members of the Body. Every able-bodied follower of Christ, with the exception of students, should have a job or a skill. That is the only way not to be dependent on others; being independent makes it easy to speak truth to power. It is very difficult to speak the truth to someone who is feeding you. If you doubt it, kindly read our previous article, "My Generation Failed You." You will see how church leaders of my generation compromised their faith through dependence on the wealthy and those in government .

5. ACTION PLAN

1. Pray for God's guidance and grace to reach out to believing family members, church members and other Christians in your neighbourhood. You will be surprised that some have similar concerns.

2. Even if there is only one other person, start a Bible study group in your home. Remember the Holy Spirit is present wherever 2 or 3 are gathered in the LORD'S name. It is a church when 2 or 3 are in fellowship and the Holy Spirit is present. Better to be in a church comprising 2 or 3 persons with the Holy Spirit present than to be in a church of one million persons with the Holy Spirit being absent.

3. The best Teacher is the Holy Spirit. Believe me, He will guide you as you study His word. Worldwide Evangelical Ministry will be publishing study helps in our website to aid you in your Bible studies. Those study helps should never take the place of your Bible studies.

4. As you study, you will have questions. Worldwide Evangelical Ministry will assist you. We are committed to answering your questions. Where we cannot, we will give you links to other resources that will help you to grow in faith. The LORD raised our ministry for this purpose. We are to equip His saints (followers of Christ) with life-giving and life-changing messages. Whatever assistance we render is free. We will NEVER ask you to send us money or material gift. "Freely you have received, freely give" is the LORD'S command to us. We hope that in return you too will preach the gospel of Christ without charge to others.

5. As we progress, we shall create a platform where we will link followers of Christ in a neighbourhood with each other. That way, a fellowship that started with 2 or 3 could become 50 or more in an area as time goes on. The purpose of having people in an area come together is not to create a larger congregation or for anyone to start a big church. Rather it is to have those in each area come together, have fellowship and organize evangelical outreaches in their neighbourhood.

6.When a fellowship in an area grows, there will be the temptation for someone to take over the group. He will say he has special gifts. Do not believe Him because his purpose is to start collecting tithes and offerings for his personal use. When that happens, you should know that he is a false brother or sister. Every follower of Christ has one or more spiritual gifts. No one is special.

7. Worldwide Evangelical Ministry is not against the collection of offerings in a gathering of God's people. Such collection, while biblical, has led to the fall of many. Many are in ministry today for the sole purpose of enriching themselves through the collection of tithes and offerings. While offerings are biblical, we hold that tithes are not for the New Testament Church (Please read our article on the subject in our website).

8. We recommend that house fellowships ask each person, during offering time, to give whatever the LORD lays in their hearts to the poor or someone needy in their neighbourhood. As she gives to that person, she should tell him that Jesus, the One who died for his sins, sent her to bless him.

9. Please do not for a moment think that God owes you when you give liberally to the poor in your area. Hasn't God given you His best--His Son and Holy Spirit? God knows what is good for you. Just go about His business (witnessing to a dying world with God's word and living an exemplary life) and He will enlarge your coast as He sees fit. Your service should never be anchored on the expectation that God will make you rich. It should always be from a heartfelt desire to help free those in bo***ge just as you were before someone preached the gospel of Christ to you. God always rewards those who diligently seek Him (Heb 11:6b).

In closing I leave you with these verses of Scripture--admonition and advice, which David gave to Solomon:

And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever (1Chron 28:9 NLT).

Then David continued, "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work related to the Temple of the LORD is finished correctly (1Chron 28:20 NLT).

Following the LORD is easy when you are fully yielded to Him. If you follow the instructions in the above verses, all the work that God has purposed in your life will be finished correctly.
