Q&A WITH FEMI ODUGBEMI » DVWORX STUDIOS 28/04/2014

I think it is wrong for government to give money for filmmakers to make films. You lend money to filmmakers to make films and then ask the filmmakers to sell those films and pay back so that whatever profit they make can help them to make new films. They (government) can invest the money in a distribution network that helps filmmakers to sell more of their works; that protects them from piracy. They can invest the money in creating the right type of curricula in our schools so that students are properly trained in film education. So that when these kids come out of school; they can make better quality films than Nollywood is making now. - Femi Odugbemi
