Yaay! It's a beautiful Monday morning and its gonna be a fabulous week.
As you journey through your day and week, be mindful of how you show love to the little ones around you. You are depositing into their emotional bank account and ultimately how they interpret and will show love.
π£ Do a quick evaluation of how you show love and like to be loved.π€ Do you see the footprints of your parents or guardians? π Are you a replica, opposite or hybrid?
Whatever model you are currently using, it can get better. π

Agbalumo season is here! To all her friends and foes, gather all the counters you can get before the goes on vacation till 2022. π
As you enjoy the sweet tangy taste of 'star fruit', save the seeds and use them as counters. The seeds are great for simple math (SUITABLE FOR AGES 3+ with strict supervision).

Play, Play and more Play. π Yup, play is great. It's a form of learning. The association of items and thoughts develop cognition and improves socialization.
The best type of play and most effective is the unstructured and unsupervised sessions. It's those moments when you are looking away and your child turns the couch pillow into a slide or adds water to some powder to make food. π€£π€£π€£π€£.
As messy as it can get and sometimes annoying to you, your child is doing research. He/she is figuring out what works and what doesnt. Some of those moments are pure genius.
Now that you know, take a breather next time your child is exploring. Keep them safe and let them play. π
Yaaa! We have another super duper easy activity for you. π The excitement to see the end result was Infectious I had to get in on the fun. (Its a good stress reliever)
Get your paper, straw and water color or poster paint (the lighter the consistency of your paint mix, the farther the paint will go). We used regular sized straw and I would love to see the patterns with a bigger straw.
This activity is great for independent work from age 3. For younger kids, you may need to assist with the blowing.
That's it from us for now..till next time, be safe and play 'cos your learning depends on it. π
You can call us the recycle masters. π€£π€£ Before packaging goes into the trash, it must have undergone serious scrutiny to evaluate its usability potential. (π€© long winded).
This cones are actually covers of plastic cups I found at a kids play place that had closed down. The colors spoke to and I took 30 pieces knowing it will come in handy for counting and color sorting.
When my crew started playing with them, I was amazed. We have used them to reinforce multiplication, build many towers, a little geometry, water play, ice cream cones and loads more.
Start saving some items you use often and let your kids explore.
Have a great weekend.

Be the example you desire to see. Kids are sponges, they will mirror what you do.(except for thΓ© slippers on the wrong foot π€£π€£)
Its Friday yaaa! Any cool plans for the weekend?
Who else feels like this today?
As a roamed the streets of Instagram, I saw loads of pictures of beautiful children. Some are battling with diseases, physical deformities, developmental delays and so many other things.
For a few minutes I put myself in the position of their parents and it reminded me to be grateful for what I do have.
That yelling that drives you crazy, is a welcome sound to a parent of a child with speech challenges, the jumping on your furniture is a miracle to a parent whose child cant walk, that hug you take for granted is a blessing to a parent whose child has no arms or is too weak to hold on.
As you read, just take a few minutes to thank God for the gift of your child(ren).
Shout out to all the warrior kids out there and their parents.β₯οΈ God bless you and keep you.
Have a blessed week.
