I decided to go outside and "detty" my December small.

I love private beaches a lot so this time, I chose Ziba Beach Resort. It was an OK experience. I have experienced better services at different resorts but the ambience is beautiful. I posted a reel showing the environment, you can check it out.

I couldn't really take pictures because there were people at every spot and I wouldn't want to put my camera in people's faces.

It is truly a beautiful Resort but their services can be better. If they are charging that much, services should be premium.

I think they are understaffed.

For the past 2yrs, we have been ordering food for Christmas celebrations but this year, I felt like cooking again.

I am almost done prepping for tomorrow , I don't intend to spend a lot of time in the kitchen on Christmas day. I just want to relax tomorrow, eat, drink and be merry.

My menu is very simple.

Akara and oats for breakfast.

Lunch is coconut jollof, fried plantains, peppered fried chicken/fish and salad. I am also making fresh watermelon and beetroot juice too.

What are you cooking tomorrow? Are you done prepping?

I have never looked forward to mothering Sunday the way I anticipated this one.

I ordered two wigs 2weeks ahead of time, brought out one of my finest lace that I have never worn before( which I still didn't wear because it was too heavy).

My plan was to step out of my home looking stunning like a new bride but one look at my toddler son made me call myself a joker 😆😆😆.

Boy is going to make it his life mission to make sure he pulls out all the shinning things on that lace 😆😆😆 or pull my hair if it is longer than usual and touching him.

Original plan was to celebrate myself by myself, pat myself on the back, get some pretty wigs and think of ways to improve as a mother to my beautiful children.
