Who's your favorite onscreen couple?

I listened to the podcast featuring Bolaji Ogunmola where she spoke deeply about the movie industry, and one thing that really touched me was when she talked about being stereotyped because of her body features.
You could hear the emotion in her voice. It felt real, painful, and honest.
It honestly makes me wonder why so many ladies in Nollywood now feel pressured to go for BBLs and body enhancement just to fit into a certain image. Why has appearance become more important than talent, depth, and good storytelling?
These days, we keep seeing beautiful faces but very weak stories and delivery. Meanwhile, there are talented actors and actresses who are constantly boxed into certain roles because of how they look.
Is that really all that matters now?
The industry should make room for originality, talent, creativity, and strong storytelling, not just physical appearance. Because at the end of the day, what truly lasts is the impact of the story, not only the packaging.

🎬 The Farmer’s Daughter Review
Currently showing on Omoni Oboli TV on YouTube, starring Chris Attoh and Detola Jones.
The Farmer’s Daughter is about Morenikeji, a village girl trying to survive with her father after life dealt them serious blows. She lost her mum at birth, later lost her brother too, and because of all the tragedy, villagers tagged the family as cursed and started avoiding them like bad market.
Things changed when Chima, a rich city guy dealing with his own problems, found himself in the village and slowly got involved in their lives. What started as simple kindness turned into healing, love, and fresh hope.
This movie was actually interesting from start to finish. Detola Jones played her role so naturally, no unnecessary overacting. Chris Attoh too gave that tired rich man energy perfectly. 😂
The village scenes were beautiful and made the story feel warm and real.
Main lesson? Be kind. Not everybody going through hard times is cursed. Sometimes people are just hurting and need support.
