Energy costs remain a major challenge for MSMEs in Nigeria, but financial institutions and sustainable energy financing are creating new pathways for growth, cost reduction, and improved productivity.
In this episode of Entrepreneurship Policy Pulse, Oluwatimilehin Deinde-Adedeji and Kolawole Osinowo explore how financial institutions especially those with both finance and energy expertise can design smarter, incentive-driven financing models that help MSMEs access cleaner energy solutions and unlock long-term business resilience.

If your program requires participants to show up in a way that conflicts with their schedule, their data costs, or their life — you will lose them. Not because they lost interest. Because you built a program for your convenience, not theirs.
Our WhatsApp and video-based learning modules were not a pandemic pivot. They were a deliberate choice based on what we know about how young entrepreneurs aged 15 to 25 in Nigeria actually access information.
Short. Mobile. On their terms.
The Think Younger toolkit identifies mobile-accessible learning as a core design principle for ESO programs targeting VYEs.
