There is difference between Next of kin and Beneficiary

Next of Kin can be any blood relation that is notified of your death. An emergency contact.

Beneficiary is who gets what. (Still subject to letter of administration etc)

Makes no sense when I see people put their 5yr old daughter as Next of Kin. Don’t do it.
