This was a closing quote as Adetunji Afolabi , the CEO of NG brought his brilliant presentation titled “Board Roles in Good Policy Formulation, Oversight/Follow Up, Functions, Board Decisions, Implementations, and Feedback” to a close at the National Association of Microfinance Banks, Oyo State Chapter Seminar titled “Transformational Leadership As Panacea for Microfinance Banking Operations In a Changing Landscape” which saw the assembly of dignitaries and stakeholders of the Nigerian microfinance sector as well as the Managing Directors and Executives of microfinance institutions within the southwest corridor.
Mldc NG’s goal remains driving not just capacity development but also transformational leadership fully invested in reaching the underserved Nigerian population through people-driven products and services, adhering to regulatory requirements of the Central Bank of Nigeria. We are committed to driving these conversations and actions through collaborative efforts of similarly oriented institutions as well as through our research-based capacity-building programs that seek to bridge the gap between what is and what ought to be.
