We are proud to partner with for Day With(out) Art 2025 by presenting Meet Us Where We’re At, a program of six videos that forefront the experiences of drug users and harm reduction practices as they intersect with the ongoing HIV crisis.
The program features new work by Camilo Tapia Flores, Camila Flores-Fernández, Hoàng Thái Anh, Kenneth Idongesit Usoro, José Luis Cortés, and Gustavo Vinagre & Vinicius Couto.
On December 7th, we will come together to screen these important films at 16/16’s second floor space. Following the screening will be a conversation featuring Kenneth Idongesit Usoro, the first Nigerian creative to be featured in a DWA commission!
Special thanks to Friend of 16 for making this happen!

In celebration of Design Week Lagos, we caught up with designer-to-watch, Marizu Onwu ( & .design ) who recently dropped Adala, the first product of his studio practice.
In this quick interview, ahead of what we believe will be an illustrious career, we sit down to talk about the material choices and processes that went into making this vessel.
Ultimately, the conversation becomes a reflection of a designer’s responsibility to the craft in a city like Lagos - Who is it for? What does it do?
Catch the full interview on our blog. Link in bio.

In his artist statement for The Day After the Night Before, Osione Itegboje meditates on the precarious act of being an artist. To create is to remain porous in a world overflowing with stimuli—a condition that demands sacrifice, but also yields moments of rare clarity. His words remind us that it is the first touch, the fleeting gesture, the instant before permanence, that often matters most.

“The Day After the Night Before” by Osione Itegboje (.one) opens today at FNB Art Joburg ( ) for collectors and VIPs.
Inviting you into the fragile aftermath of chaotic intimacy, the works linger in the charged echoes of the night prior: tender caresses, explosive confrontations, and moments of vulnerability that transform the space between two individuals.
Through Fabia Alabraba’s ( ) curatorial precision and mise en scène, this emotional cacophony is drawn out of the canvas and placed in the real world. As a result, each piece become less an object on the wall and more a fragment of the artist that you carry with you, resonant even in his absence.
