💔 The past few days have been unbearably heavy. I’ve remained silent, motionless, still in disbelief… Two giants in my life left on the same day, and my heart struggles to carry the weight.

Besseck Ba Khobio — an icon of Cameroon and African cinema. Since 2009, when my first film was selected at ECRANS Noirs, you’ve been more than a mentor—you became a father figure, a constant source of encouragement. Just two months ago, you drove all the way to my training venue in Yaoundé, simply to lift me up. That memory now feels like a final gift. My heart is broken, but your fire will forever burn in me.

Alex Ekubu — you left the stage far too soon. Your jovial spirit, your kindness, your laughter still echo in my mind. I replay our last phone call, the truth in your voice, the strength you carried even when I didn’t know it was goodbye. I’ll miss you, brother, more than words can hold.

Two lights gone, yet their glow will never fade. Rest well, legends. 🕊️

During the just ended .a.m.i.f.f 10th Anniversary, I had the opportunity once again to trickle down the little I know. As a facilitator, we talked about cinema and technology. We equally facilitated an insightful Film and Business workshop alongside CRTV’s and tech guru
