These two great men shaped my life and helped me build my career at a time when I didn't know what next to do in life.

I met SB in 2010 and worked for him at X3M Music for three years. I saw artistes join the label and turn into super stars. I saw his dreams, X3M Ideas, turn into a reality - that move will forever inspire me because he brought me close and taught me game.

I also met ATG back in 2010 (he was rocking suits back then 😆). He put the battery in my back and transformed me from a blogger to a journalist while he was busy building one of the biggest PR firms in Nigeria. It was really tough but it was worth it.

So many stories but I'll put it in a book. THANK YOU!

I’ve got some personal news!

I’ve accepted to join the guys at Opera, as Director of Growth, for ORide.

I’ll share more details later, but I must thank my bosses and colleagues for five amazing years at Ringier Africa. Super grateful to everyone who worked with me to build Pulse into the successful brand it is today.

The journey continues and I’ll appreciate even more support from everyone who’s been there for me, as I take on this new challenge at ORide.

I'm quite passionate about the creative industry in Africa so I'm always enthused to discuss and share knowledge in public.

I got talking with a number of very talented young Africans at the ECHO Music Conference 2019 in Lagos alongside a good friend - who handles Strategic Partnerships at Instagram.

This week, I had the opportunity to mentor a number of tech startups at Google's Launchpad Accelerator Africa, Class 3.

One hidden gem, however, is the opportunity to meet and also learn from fellow mentors who have vast experience in so many fields.

It reminds me of how we work at - Knowledge Sharing is key!

I'm at the Africa CEO Forum, holding in Kigali, Rwanda.

Some key points from Day 1:

·Africa needs 1.7 new jobs every month.

·We need visionaries in new markets to develop the private sectors, driven by trade.

·We need pragmatic people who can drive this initiative.

·We need to support more African women in business.

One more thing - Dear Nigeria, are we considering signing the African Continental Free Trade Agreement?

What plans, in Africa, have we put in place to prepare us for the Fourth Industrial Revolution? What are the areas of acceleration?

So many questions discussed at a World Economic Forum workshop I recently attended.

Innovation is one key area we have to constantly improve on and that means a lot of effort needs to be put into public-private sector collaboration.

Covering the 2019 Elections in Nigeria was quite eventful!

I'm super proud of the team - all around the country who worked tirelessly in bringing you the news - in real time.

After the May 29 swearing, I am hoping all the lofty promises made during the campaigns are fulfilled.

Let's get back to work as we continue to collectively make this country great!

I'm always excited to see companies run by young people, excel.

Last year, I had to the opportunity to mentor the co-founders of Piggybank (now PiggyVest!) through the Google Launchpad Accelerator programme.

It's was amazing to hear that they secured a $1.1M seed fundraise to grow their online savings and investments platform.

No days off as we continue to cover and report on the future of this beloved country of ours! .
