A few days ago, I had a really instructive experience with OT.

We were in the supermarket and she wanted a biscuit, I didn't want her to get one so I thought to make it a teaching exercise on obedience, delayed gratification, patience and all that it could mean.

"Tish, you can only the biscuits if you will agree not to eat any of it tonight but take TWO of them to school tomorrow. If you refuse my terms, you will not have any biscuits as we will not be buying any at all. You have time to decide before we get to the till... "

She went on sulking and insisting on having her way. I surely was having none of it. We got to the till, paid for the items that qualified and asked her to return the biscuits to the shelf.

She cried, crode and crewed as we left the supermarket and boy was I pi**ed!

But this was a moment I sought to take full advantage of as I mentioned earlier. So I kept my stress in check and kept explaining the opportunity she missed by refusing to do what I asked.

"Daddy, I'm sorry for missing the opportunity, I will never miss my opportunity again"...

I spent the time on the drive back home letting her know I have put it behind me and she should just learn and do better. I really had moved on by the time we got home.

We settled in and several minutes later, OT gets up from the chair, goes to the wall, gets on her knees and starts crying again saying she's sorry for not obeying and missing her opportunity.

Wifey and I were surprised and that quickly changed to concern and it dawned on me what God was teaching me that instant...

I went to my daughter, picked her up into a hug and explained - "I have forgiven you, even though you missed that chance of TWO biscuits because of your resistance/disobedience, I love you and you will get better snacks and goodies later on but you must always do as I ask you to. I am not angry with you anymore. I love you darling, now cheer up and let's have a good evening."

The following days were better with yummies and snackies,especially her conduct and compliance regarding my instructions. But I was instructed by the experience and I share now because you should be as well.

I'm grateful for how God always goes ahead of me.

How He rests His hand upon me, He makes His glory be my rearguard.

The Solid Rock upon whom I stand, the One who is the fullness of my existence, in Him I breathe, move, live and have my being.

His spirit upon me in the order of Isaiah 61:1

And He has blessed me with the gifts of men. Great men.

Just an outpour of thanksgiving from an endless depth of gratitude!

I have spent time in private thanking God. The team has spent time together thanking God, sharing testimonies and experiences of how God held each of us through this without even the other knowing what was happening.

Thank YOU for yielding and letting God use you for me and my team...and ultimately His glory.

I would never have known that today would be the day that I would HAVE to comprehensively explain the following concepts to my daughter.
..to burn the world.. to shift the culture .. to transform the nations.. to heal the sick.. to raise the dead.. to spend the billions.. to spend for Jesus.. till we hear Weldone.

But yes, today was that day and of course it was all thanks to this JAM of a reminder that is the anthem by and ,

Having felt and loved the aesthetics, the vibe, the trend and the ubiquitous nature of it already, it was quite the call to sit and layout the message within to my 5-year old who had questions.

She loves all that the song gives (we all do) and the responsibility of bringing it home for her was too clear with how she sat down beside me and calmly asked the meaning of the words.

Dear Gaise and Lawrence Oyor, God is reaching us all and I am glad your gifts and drives have been found useful for this purpose of reaching a generation so delicate and even beyond. Weldone. Greater jams and collabos and flow of the Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen.

To drop jam, as in legit jam is one thing.
To jam it with an absolute consciousness of its meaning is another.
To be able to jam it with a 5-year old?... Who now totally gets the message? And is speaking aspirations on how THESE things will Be?... That is the cap at this point.

See how far we've come?... No Turning back!

It is human and expected that you plan with obtainable realities. But you must dream, speak, utter and decree and declare beyond obtainable realities.

That power of life and death in your tongue is no joke! Faith is first expressed in your words before it is established in your mind and then reflected in your actions.

Your mouth is a weapon. Use it. Fight!

Isaiah 52:7 initially mentioned it.

Then Romans 10:15 found it worthy to emphasise it...

And like I told a sister, as prepare to walk on water while trampling upon snakes and scorpions and they are getting crushed to death without any harm to us...

The least we can do is...?
