Over the past few months, we’ve been fully immersed in the most intense and rewarding phase of the StarLab Mentorship Programme – First Cohort.

This journey was never just about training. It was about transformation.

We built this programme around our mission to help young people:

🔎 Discover their talents
🛠 Develop relevant digital skills
🌍 Connect to real global opportunities

Now, we are proud to announce the 3rd Phase: Virtual Internship with Global Partners.

Out of 20 admitted mentees, 15 successfully completed their training projects and have now been grouped into 4 teams. These teams are currently working with our international partner organisations to solve real organisational challenges as interns.

Our Global Partners:
• Isador Model School (IMS) – Nigeria
• AYAS (African Youths in Alliance for Sustainability) – Kenya
• Leemah Inc. – Liberia
• Hotlane Organisation – South Africa

This is what mentorship should look like:
Not just theory.
Not just certificates.

Impact.

Through these partnerships, our mentees are gaining cross-border experience, working across cultures, and applying their skills in live environments, preparing them for the global digital economy.

We are grateful to our partners for believing in this vision and for opening their organisations to nurture the next generation of African digital talent.

The work has been deep.
The process has been intense.
The impact is real.

And we’re just getting started.

A new year demands a new YOU.

Like every year before it, 2026 will have 12 months, 365 days, and the same number of hours.

What started as a simple idea, to give underserved youth access to practical skills and career guidance, has grown into something extraordinary.

At the Mindshift Event 2025, we celebrated the winners of our Digital & Vocational Bootcamp and witnessed the spark of possibility in the eyes of young people ready to step into their future.

This journey wasn’t just about learning skills. It was about confidence, resilience, and proving that with the right support, every young person has the power to rise above limitations.
