I represented at the Public Sensitisation and Presentation of Lagos State's significant strides in the ongoing implementation of the Human Capital Opportunities for Prosperity and Equity (HOPE Program) activities on Governance(Hope-GOV), Primary Health (Hope - PHC and Basic Education(Hope -EDU) which held today at the Government House, Marina.

There was in attendance, the Governor, First Lady, Deputy Governor, Chairman of the House Committee on Budget and Economic Planning, Commissioners, SUBEB Chairman, SUBEB Board Members, Development Partners, UNICEF and World Bank Representatives and other Stakeholders.

The Hope Program is a World Bank sponsored project

The Annual Stakeholders Consultation Workshop organised by National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) took place on 28 - 29th of January. It was a gathering of CSOs, Community Members and Staff and management of NIMC.
In the course of the workshop it was revealed that NIMC has only captured about 50% of the population in its database. This workshop is geared towards leveraging CSO Networks to get feedback through Community Scorecard and amplify NIN enrollment in marginalised community
NIMC will be in the over 8,000 wards of the Federation from mid February to carry out aggressive enrollment of the Nigerian Citizens, including Children

On Thursday, 8th of January, I represented on the Panel Session at the Stakeholders Engagement and Inauguration of Safety and Security Response Teams in Lagos State Public Primary Schools. The Stakeholders Engagement,organised by , brought together various Stakeholders in education and security sectors to brainstorm on issues of safety and security in our public primary schools.
The event also marked the official Inauguration of the Safety and Security Response Teams in the 1,026 Public Primary Schools in Lagos State. It is hoped that this Teams will ensure that the minimum Guidelines for safe school as recommended by the Safe School Declaration is strictly adhered to in all our public primary schools as well as ensure that child protection and safeguarding policies are applied in these schools

Giving is Living....This was demonstrated today by all the Implementing Partners brought together by to celebrate the first Giving Festival today at the Bariga Jetty.

Over 1,500 beneficiaries from the Host Community benefitted from the generosity of these Organisations.
Immense appreciation goes to for her leadership in bringing this laudable initiative to fruition

From Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th of November, it was time for a series of training on Budget Tracking and Evidence Based Research Tools and Gender Responsive Pedagogy. Having a training session on a Sunday was a novel experience for me.
It was a time of learning unlearning and relearning from, not just the facilitators, but also from fellow participants
