đđ CHRISTIANITY IS NOT FIRST CLASS IN SCHOOL â ITâS FIRST PLACE WITH GOD đ
I still remember back on campusâŠ
We used to design church invite cards with the names of students who were on first class, department presidents, and âcelebritiesâ on campus.
As if to say, âCome to Jesus â Heâll make you academically successful too.â
But now I ask: Is that really what Christianity is about?
Is the Gospel of Jesus Christ reduced to a motivational tool for grades, fame, and ambition?
Truth is â we were well-meaning, but we missed the mark.
Because following Jesus is not about climbing ladders â itâs about carrying crosses.
> âIf anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.â â Luke 9:23
Jesus didnât die so you could make first class.
He died so you wouldnât perish.
He rose so you could live a life surrendered, even if it doesnât make you popular, rich, or celebrated.
Yes, God can bless you academically.
But even if you fail every course â He is still worthy of your life.
> âWhat shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?â â Mark 8:36
Letâs not present education, prosperity, or popularity as the evidence of salvation.
The real proof? Obedience. Brokenness. Holiness. Sacrifice. Love. Even when no one claps.
Jesus isnât a career plug.
Heâs not a scholarship connection.
He is Lord â even when the grades donât align, and life feels like a valley.
Letâs preach that.

đ„ UNPOPULAR TRUTH: PROSPERITY ISNâT THE GOSPEL đ„
Letâs be honest â sharing prosperity testimonies just to gather crowds âfor Christâ is a lie wrapped in churchy marketing.
We tell people, âCome to Jesus, and your life will be sweet, your pockets will overflow, and doors will openâ â but thatâs not what Jesus promised.
He said:
âIn this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.â â John 16:33
The truth is this: weâre not inviting people to a party â weâre calling them to a crucifixion.
And yes⊠we know that wonât âtrend.â
But the cross never did.
Nobody tells you this, but the man who wrote âI Have Decided to Follow Jesusâ did so after watching his family killed for their faith.
And what converted his killers wasnât a miracle or a money testimony â it was how he embraced persecution with unshaken resolve.
âI have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back.â
That is what moved hearts.
That is what real power looks like â not flashy success, but unwavering surrender.
We cannot keep baiting people with blessings and hiding the burden of the cross.
Yes, God blesses. Yes, He provides. But the road is hard, narrow, and lonely â and that is the invitation.
âWhoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.â â Luke 14:27
Letâs stop selling Jesus like a business.
Letâs preach the truth: He is worth it â even when it costs everything.

STOP TRYING TO PRAY YOUR WAY INTO WHATâS BEEN FREELY GIVEN!
Fam, letâs be realâsome of us are out here trying to fast and tongue our way into being the next Baba Adeboye or Apostle Babalola. We think if we pray at 12:01 AM, face east, and quote 13 scriptures, God must move. Spoiler alert: He wonât.
Those men didnât earn it by fire and thunder. It was GRACE.
Zechariah 4:6 says: âNot by power, not by might, but by My Spirit...â Translation: chill, itâs not about your hustle.
You want Peterâs shadow-anointing? My guy wasnât even trying! The man was just walking. Acts 5:15 says his shadow healed people accidentally. Can your own shadow even shade you?
Weâre out here chasing realms, angels, dimensions, portals (Marvel who?). Meanwhile, God is like, âWhy not use what I already gave you?â
1 Corinthians 2:12: â...that we might know what God has freely given us.â
Also, not every moment needs tongues. Sometimes just talk to God like a normal person.
1 Cor. 14:15: âIâll pray in the Spirit and with understanding.â
Baba Adeboye is meek. You? You drag small usher and say âdo you know who I am?â
Matthew 5:5: âBlessed are the meek...â
Bottom line: Donât overcomplicate this walk. Use what you have. Receive whatâs free. Godâs not hard to reachâHeâs just not impressed by theatrics.

Why Do Some Prayers Get Answers Faster? Letâs Talk Spiritual Logistics
Have you ever noticed that some prayers seem to be answered faster when you're praying with certain peopleâŠ
Or at a specific church programâŠ
Or when a particular pastor is leading the prayer?
You feel the atmosphere shift, and before long, boomâanswers come with immediate alacrity.
But have you ever stopped to ask:
âWhy?â
Whatâs the secret behind this?
Is it psychological hype⊠or is there spiritual intelligence at work?
Letâs go back to Daniel.
He prayed, and his answer was dispatched from heaven by Angel Gabriel. But Gabriel was delayed, held up by territorial resistance. It took Archangel Michael, a higher-ranking warrior, to step in and clear the path.
Hereâs the revelation:
Daniel didnât lack faith.
He didnât pray wrongly.
He lacked backup.
Now think:
If Daniel had others praying alongside himâeach with their own angels of different ranks, functions, and authorityâwould the delay have lasted 21 days?
I doubt it.
Scripture says we are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people loaded with kingdom authority.
If earthly kings have servants and ministers, do you think Heavenâs royalty (thatâs YOU) doesnât have heavenly help?
Yesâyou have angels.
Maybe more than one.
Maybe different kindsâmessengers, warriors, watchers, and ministering spirits.
Thatâs why when you align with others who carry divine weight, the spiritual atmosphere gets heavyâanswers descend quicker, resistance breaks faster, and miracles manifest visibly.
So no, itâs not hype.
Itâs not luck.
Itâs a spiritual alignment of angelic reinforcements.
The next time you feel drawn to a prayer group, a pastor, or a corporate altarâdonât overthink it.
God may be drawing you to a divine convergence, where your angels unite with others to bring heaven to earth.
Youâre not alone.
Youâre not empty.
Youâre not powerless.
Youâre a king with an army. Pray like it.

Loving with Boundaries â and It's Biblical.
There comes a time when you realise that helping someone repeatedly without accountability isn't love â itâs enabling. Saying ânoâ isnât always easy, especially when emotions are involved, but sometimes itâs the wisest and most loving thing you can do.
Scripture doesnât just encourage generosity â it also teaches discernment and stewardship:
2 Thessalonians 3:10 â âThe one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.â
Galatians 6:5 â âEach one should carry their own load.â
Proverbs 21:20 â âThe wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.â
Proverbs 19:19 â âRescue them, and you will have to do it again.â
Matthew 10:16 â âBe as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.â
We are called to be kind, but weâre also called to be wise. Helping others shouldn't come at the cost of our own peace, nor should it prevent them from learning responsibility. Boundaries are biblical.
Itâs okay to support others â but itâs also okay to say:
âI love you, but I wonât keep funding a cycle that doesnât lead to growth.â
21/03/2025
I recently received fresh insight while reflecting on the phrase âthe enemy at the gates.â In the UK work cultureâespecially in healthcare and corporate environmentsâassessments are often made not just based on your output, punctuality, or work ethic, but on what others say about you.
Hereâs the problem: what if those opinions come from people who carry bias, envy, or even subtle tribalism?
In that case, the âenemy at the gateâ isn't someone obviousâitâs the one whispering to the gatekeeper (your supervisor, manager, or assessor).
The Bible is full of this pattern:
Danielâs colleagues couldnât fault his performance, so they schemed against him and influenced the king.
Haman lied to the king to target the Jews out of personal hatred.
David cried out in Psalm 69: âThose who sit at the gate mock meâŠâ
But hereâs the hope:
Isaiah 54:17 says every tongue that rises against you shall be condemned.
Psalm 24:7 calls for the gates to lift up their heads and let the King of Glory in.
Psalm 75:7 reminds us that promotion comes from God, not man.
If you feel wrongly assessed, misrepresented, or blocked at the gateâdonât fret. God sees. And He speaks for you.
Speak to your gates. Pray over your assessors. And declare that no enemy will prevail at the place of your elevation.
Your name will be spoken in the right rooms.
