I had a little experience today that every business owner needs to hear…
My birthday is on Tuesday 🎉 so I booked a nail session with a nail tech on my street. I got there this afternoon—shop closed. I called her number… not reachable.
And honestly, I’m a very busy person. I don’t joke with my time.
I had no choice but to walk to the next street and get my nails done by someone else. Simple.
But here is the lesson 👇
As a business owner, your phone is part of your shop.
The moment your line is off, you’re not just “resting”… you are losing real money and real customers.
That nail tech didn’t just miss an appointment today—she lost a paying, ready customer.
Let’s do better: 📌 Keep your phone reachable
📌 Communicate if you won’t be available
📌 Respect people’s time
Because someone else is always ready to take the opportunity you miss.
Business is not only about skill… it’s also about availability.

I had everything planned for my photoshoot this weekend… including making my hair. Then out of nowhere, someone reached out—she wanted me to be her model 😍
Ahhh! I was so happy. At least, I would save some cost and still look amazing 💃
We booked for this morning, and I was already feeling like a star… only for disappointment to show up 😩 The stylist called to say the place she booked was already filled up.
My heart just dropped 💔
But guess what? Just when I was trying to adjust my mood, she called back again and said, “Don’t worry, we can use my house.”
Omooo… see me see happiness again 😂🙌
Lesson: Sometimes things may not go as planned, but they can still work out even better than you expected.
God really knows how to turn little disappointments into big smiles 😊✨

This morning didn’t go as planned at all… and I need to get this off my chest.
As a mum, my day doesn’t just “start” — I had to prepare my kids for school first before stepping out for our Moniepoint market storm. I rushed everything, spent my transport, energy, and time just to show up committed and ready to work.
Only to get there and hear, “they’ve already left.”
Just like that.
No proper coordination, no consideration, nothing.
I won’t lie, I’m really pained. Not just because of the ₦10,000 I spent, but because of the sacrifice behind it. Balancing motherhood and work is not beans, and moments like this can be very discouraging.
But one thing I know — I won’t let this stop me.
To every working mum out there trying to show up and still build something for yourself, I see you. It’s not easy, but we keep going 💪
Tomorrow will be better.
My baby does not like me touching her hair.” 😅
Every time I try to comb it… she runs.
When she sees the comb in my hand… she disappears.
And when I finally catch her… the crying starts. 😭
Many parents think a child is just being stubborn, but sometimes it’s something deeper.
Some children have sensitive scalps, some don’t like the pulling feeling, and some simply don’t like sitting still for long.

One day, you’ll look back at moments like this and realize they were the little days that meant everything. 🥹❤️
The tiny steps…
The curious eyes…
The little hands reaching out to explore the world.
Children grow so fast, but in moments like this they remind us to slow down and enjoy the beauty of now. Because today they are small, but tomorrow they will be strong, confident, and ready to face the world.
As parents, our greatest assignment is not just to raise children, but to raise kind, brave, and confident humans.
So take the pictures.
Enjoy the noise.
Celebrate the small milestones.
These little moments are the ones that build the big memories. ✨

Confidence in children doesn’t happen by accident — it is built at home, one loving moment at a time. ❤️
Every time you listen to them, encourage them, correct them with love, and allow them to express themselves, you are planting seeds of confidence in their hearts.
Confident children are not those who are never corrected. They are children who grow up knowing they are loved, heard, and supported.
One day, this little child will stand in the world with courage, not because life was always easy, but because someone at home believed in them first.
Dear parents, the way you speak to your child today becomes the voice they hear inside themselves tomorrow. 🌱
Raise them with love.
Guide them with patience.
And watch them grow into fearless, confident humans. ✨

Before becoming a mother, I thought motherhood was just about cute clothes and beautiful pictures.
Nobody told me about the sleepless nights, the worries, the sacrifices… and the kind of love that makes you forget yourself.
Motherhood will stretch you, but it will also make you stronger than you ever imagined. ❤️
Mothers, what surprised you the most about motherhood?

STOP SCROLLING… Look at these tiny feet for a moment. 👣❤️
One day, you will blink… and the little child who used to hold your finger while walking will be running ahead of you.
Children grow quietly. Not with noise, not with announcements… but with small steps like this.
Today she is learning how to walk confidently.
Tomorrow she will be learning how to face the world.
That is why motherhood is powerful.
Because in the middle of the stress, the sleepless nights, and the endless responsibilities… we are raising human beings.
So if you are a mother reading this, remember:
The little moments you think are ordinary today will become the memories you miss tomorrow.
Slow down.
Watch them grow.
Celebrate every tiny step. ❤️
Mothers, tell me in the comments…
How old is your little one today? 👶🏽

Don’t laugh at their little dreams — that’s where confidence is built.
Today she is “checking” grandma’s heart.
To us, it may look like play. But to a child, it is learning.
When children pretend to be doctors, teachers, chefs, or business owners, they are not just playing — they are: 🧠 Developing imagination
💬 Practicing communication
🤝 Learning empathy
💪 Building confidence
Every time we take their play seriously, we tell them: “You are capable.” “Your dreams matter.” “You can become anything.”
Grandma sat calmly and allowed herself to be the patient. That simple act taught more than any classroom lesson — it taught encouragement.
As parents and caregivers, let’s: ✔ Provide safe tools for creative play
✔ Avoid mocking their ambitions
✔ Speak positive words over their future
✔ Expose them to different careers early
Because confidence doesn’t start at adulthood. It starts in moments like this.
Encourage the play. Encourage the dream. Encourage the child. 💚
