Something so beautiful about the Donkey. They are strong, peaceful, empathic, intelligent, steadfast, sure footed, quiet (mostly 😂) and some would say stubborn, but I say persnickety. They are the animal I never knew I needed on the farm…or in my life. And there is no turning back, they are my FRIENDS ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The most majestic sunsets happen right outside the doors of our new farm. A true blessing from God, my gratitude overflowing.

The girls 🐔 have RAMPED up the egg factory, I have more eggs than I know what to do with. There are only so many that I can pickle, preserve and make mini quiche and frittatas to freeze 😂

An ode to my Pink Magnolia tree. I have lived in my circa 1798 farmhouse here in Western NY for 6 years now, and this tree never ceases to amaze me every year. The blooms come in to signal Spring’s long awaited arrival, confetti my acreage with fragrant pink petals and rebook one last time before dormancy in July. Giving us two big beautiful shows before Autumn returns. Some of my favorite memories in my home include cooking in my kitchen and getting to admire the blooms as I prepare meals for my family. What a blessing to have a place to miss so much, the next chapter will be its own adventure with a whole new set of favorite memories 🤍

I turned 35 on the 14th….yep, 35…I can hardly believe it. I have been doing this farming thing for over 5 years, a Certified Veterinary Technician for almost 15 years and I still don’t feel done learning and growing with animals and humans alike. I have been blessed my 35 years of life, in the adventures and misadventures 😂

My next adventure will be setting down roots for myself and family and that is a pretty exciting prospect!! Thank you to everyone who messaged me and remembered my birthday, I appreciate you all even though it’s taking me 21 business days to get back to you, I have been taking social media breaks 🫠🤣
