Hello friends💚🙃

I used to wonder whether that four letter word 'love' exist. All my friends were all in a relationship but at age 22 I felt lonely and no heart to love.

I remembered my past relationship with Eric and how he claimed to be in love with me. I fell foolishly for him as I trusted him with all my heart. He treated me like a queen, dropping flowers at my doorstep with heartwarming messages, introduced me to all his friends and they gave me the nickname 'our wife'. His deep masculine voice turning me on in the morning and that sweet voice lobbying me to sleep in the night. My parents accepted him and his parents accepted me too. He proposed to me in front of his friends, I said 'yes' jumping happily and smiling as he slide the beautiful diamond ring into my finger. I watched the ring glitter as they kept congratulating us calling us the latest couples.

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into month as we prepared for our wedding. Parents planning to make the wedding the best in town, invitation were given to dignitaries in town. I was happy as I watched my happy dreams coming to reality. Eric birthday was few weeks to the wedding I planned to surprise him with some of his friends.

The D-day for his birthday came and we arrived his house, the cake in my hands and everybody with their gift. The gateman saw us and wanted to alert him but I told him it is a surprise visit. I noticed the uneasiness but I reassured him that he will not lost his job. We walked into the mansion and we saw clothes scattered all over the floor. My fear started to show as I manage to hold the cake with shaky hands. We managed to climb the staircase , we opened the master bedroom and the sight before me made the cake fall as I ran out of the house turning deaf to those calling my names.

I continued running but my body started becoming heavy and I started staggering but before I could touch the ground someone held me and carried me. I woke up with my head banging and the door opened revealin
