*CHOIR COMPETITION*

Kindly register your church choir on www.theignitetv.com/choir. Registration closes on the 10th of September, 2023. Each participant is expected to drop their recorded video performances on the given link that will be sent to the choir.
The deadline for submission of your recorded video performance is on the 27th of September , 2023.

General Rules and Guidelines of the Contest

1. The competition is open to all church choirs from all denominations and the choir performances will be accessed online on the 30th September,2023.
2.The choir can perform in any appropriate attire or costume.
3. The performance time is limited to 20 minutes.
4. Prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Positions.
5. The judges decision is the final

a. Biblical Content
b. Citing of biblical references
c. Originality

*PERFORMANCE – 35%*
a. Tonal Quality
b. Voice Production
c. Improvisation / Instruments

*MUSICIANSHIP – 25%*
a. Pitch
b. Intonation
c. Interpretation
d. Dynamics
e. Timing and Rhythm
f. Harmony

*STAGE PRESENCE – 15%*
a. Audience Impact
b. Stage Discipline
c. Facial Expression
d. Costume/Attire

*Performance Task*

1. Compose a song on the theme ‘ *Atonement* ’
2. Solo Performance on the theme *Glory of God*
3. Any two classical Hymns you of your choice


The performance time should not be more than *20 minutes* choir performances
