BEING ALLĀH'S FRIEND IS EVERYTHING YOU EVER NEEDED

Have you ever heard of the term "Auliyā'ullāh"*(أولياء الله)*, friends of Allāh?

Yes, you read that correctly.

Allāh has friends among His creation. The Lord of the heavens and the earth, the King of all kings, the Possessor of Majesty and Perfection, chooses certain servants and honors them with His friendship. How magnificent is this reality.

People spend their entire lives seeking the friendship of influential individuals. They desire the attention of kings, leaders, celebrities, and powerful figures. They believe that if only they could gain their favor, their lives would change.

But what comparison is there between the friendship of creation and the friendship of the Creator?

The friend of Allāh is never truly alone, even if he walks without companions.

The friend of Allāh is never abandoned, even when the whole world turns against him.

The friend of Allāh is never poor, even if he possesses little of this world.

For he possesses the greatest treasure imaginable: the love, protection, aid, and care of his Lord.

But how does one become a friend of Allāh?

Not through lineage. Not through titles. Not through claims. Allāh Himself explained it:

"Indeed, the friends of Allāh shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve. Those who believe and constantly maintain taqwā."

The path is simple, though not easy.

Strong īmān. Consistent taqwā. Obedience in private and public. Love of the Qur'ān. Abundance of dhikr. Sincerity in worship. Patience upon hardship. Distance from sin.

The friendship of Allāh is not attained through occasional acts of righteousness, but through a life devoted to Him.

Imagine living under the care of Allāh. When you call, He answers.
When you seek, He guides. When you stumble, He lifts you. When you are tested, He strengthens you. When people abandon you, He remains with you. What more does a person need after that?

Wallāhi, if Allāh is your friend, then it matters little who opposes you. And if Allāh abandons a person, then it matters little who stands beside him.

So do not spend your life trying to become important in the eyes of people. Strive instead to become beloved in the sight of Allāh.

For being Allāh's friend is not one blessing among many. It is everything you truly need.

*أَلَا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ*

"Indeed, the friends of Allāh will have no fear, nor will they grieve."
