ATTENTION ! ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!!!
This is to inform the general public that 2024 end of the year free train service will commence on Friday 20th December to Saturday 4th January 2025.
All prospective passengers are to book their tickets online as tickets will not be available at the stations. Please note that you need a photo ID to board the train (This is mandatory).
Also, note that tickets are not transferable.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
The Nigerian Railways Corporation has introduced an adjusted schedule for train trips between Lagos and Ibadan.
The revised timetable is as follows:

Weekend Service (Friday & Saturday)

Lagos to Ibadan:

1. First Trip departs by 7:45 a.m. (Normal movement)
2. Second Trip departs by 1:40 p.m. (express train; to only stop at Agege, Abeokuta, Omi Adio and terminates at Moniya)
3. Third Trip departs by 4:00 p.m. (Normal movement)

Ibadan to Lagos:
1. First trip to depart by 8:00 a.m. (Normal trip)
2. Second trip to depart by 10:50 a.m. (Express trip, same as Lagos to Ibadan)
3. Third trip to depart by 4:30 p.m. (Normal trip)

The existing schedule of "TWO TRIPS" for all other days (Sunday to Thursday) remains unchanged.
Moreso, Kajola and Olodo station are now open for operations

This schedule change is to accommodate the growing demand for rail transportation between the two cities, particularly during peak periods. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.

This is to bring to your notice that the management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation has decided to commence running of three trips on weekend basis (Friday and Saturday) which will kickstart from next week friday (November 15) and saturday (November 16) This will assist us deal with the rush and avoid leaving anyone behind.
The First and Last trips will be normal running while the middle trip will be an express Train.

The 3days warning strike embarked upon by the Railway workers has been suspended. Lagos-Ibadan Train Services will resume tomorrow 20th/11/2021 with the 1300hrs trip from Lagos and Ibadan simultaneously.
While thanking you for your patience, we regret the inconveniences the strike must have caused you.

Esteemed train users, please be informed that there would be no train service across the nation from today Thursday 18th Nov, 2021 to Saturday 20th Nov, 2021 due to the in-house Union Strike action.
Train services will resume on Sunday 21th Nov, 2021.
We regret all inconveniences.
