Remote job search is different.

You’re not just competing locally.
Sometimes, you’re competing globally.

And let’s be honest

No employer wants to hire someone they can’t see just to pay salary without results.

Remote work is results-driven.
It’s about KPIs, delivery, and accountability.

Which means you must:
✔️ Show clear evidence of your work
✔️ Prove your value upfront
✔️ Put your best foot forward every time

Because your CV alone is not enough anymore.
So your strategy must be different.

And that’s exactly what we’ll be breaking down
step-by-step in this Sunday’s session:

Remote Job Search Strategy

If you’re serious about landing a remote role,
you need more than effort, you need the right approach.

I saw a post on Reddit Yesterday, Someone applied to 5k jobs and got 1k rejections before finally landing an offer in the UK oooo.

How many applications have you submitted this year that you're tired already?

Looking for a job is a full time job!🤌🏾, but you don't have to do it alone and that's why SMG Community is here to support you.

Join us for another workshop this Sunday. Link in the comment.

If you’ve ever said:
“I’ve applied but I’m not getting feedback”

Then this is for you.

Because the issue is not always your qualification.
Sometimes, it’s your approach.

You might be:
Positioning for the wrong roles
Applying to roles that don’t align
Using a profile that is not properly structured

Getting a job today goes beyond just having a CV.

You need:
✔️ A clear and focused profile
✔️ A portfolio that shows proof of your work
✔️ An optimized social presence (your digital currency)
✔️ The right job titles and quality job boards

Because recruiters are not just reading
They are assessing visibility, value, and proof.

This Sunday, inside the SMG Community,
we’ll be breaking down:
Remote Job Search Strategy

If you’re a woman and you’re tired of figuring this out alone,
this is your cue.

You don’t just need to apply more.
You need to apply better.

Let me be honest

Some of you don’t have a job problem.
You have a positioning problem.
You’re skilled, but not visible.
You’re qualified, but not aligned.

We’re fixing that in this session.👇

You don’t need more courses.

You need strategy and the right community.

Join SheMovesGlobal Employability Skills Series 3.0 and learn how to find and apply for remote jobs the right way.

One of the most overlooked secrets to getting a job is community.

Not certificates.
Not endless applications.
Not luck.
But the people you surround yourself with.

When you connect with other determined job seekers…
When you have sisters who understand your struggles…
When you have support, accountability, and a safe space to learn together…
Your journey becomes easier, faster, and less lonely.

Most women don’t lack potential; they lack community.

That’s why I created the SheMovesGlobal Community.
When you’re in the right community:
You move faster.
You stay consistent.
You stop feeling alone.
That’s what SheMovesGlobal is.

A safe space for women who are ready to move, grow, and build real careers, without compromising their values.

Through SMG monthly employability skills series, I have been able to answer questions and solve problems face by young woman trying to build a career.

SheMovesGlobal Employability Skills Series 3.0 is coming up this month.

Topic: Remote Job Search Strategy

If you’ve been struggling with job search alone, this is your sign to stop.
You don’t have to walk this journey by yourself.

Most job seekers are doing this:

📍 Using one CV for everything
📍 Applying randomly
📍 Waiting and hoping

That’s not strategy. That’s guessing.

If you want remote jobs, you need structure.

That’s what this workshop is about.👇

09/04/2026

I saw a post earlier that said:

“Why are you paying for every course you see, but you’ve not even finished the first one you bought?”

And honestly… this is one of the biggest problems I see with job seekers.

Let me say it as it is 👇

You don’t have a learning problem.
You have an ex*****on problem.

You don’t need 10 courses.
You need one skill + real application.

Instead of jumping from one course to another:

📍 Pick one skill
📍 Practice it with real work (internships/volunteering)
📍 Document your progress
📍 Build your profile around it

It is easier to upskill while working than when you’re just learning endlessly.

This is exactly the gap I’m solving.

In my community SheMovesGlobal,
I don’t teach tech skills.

I focus on:
✔️ Employability skills
✔️ Job application strategy
✔️ Positioning yourself for opportunities

Our April workshop is focused on:
Remote Job Search Strategy

Because having a skill is one thing…
Knowing how to use it to get a job is another thing entirely.

Young people need to stop chasing every new skill.
Start working with what you already have.

That’s where the real growth is.

I’ve been a bit quiet here intentionally.
I took a step back during Ramadan to reset, reflect, and build.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been working on:
Structuring 30 Days Job Application Challenge – Cohort 2
Creating a seamless onboarding + automation process
Improving the experience for every participant

Because this isn’t just another challenge.
It’s a system that gets results.
And speaking of results…

This is what participants from Cohort 1 had to say:
(Read Muizat’s feedback below 👇)

Alhamdulillah, I'm really grateful to have been part of this challenge. I didn't regret it one bit. For me, it was not just a program, but a journey that tested consistency, discipline, and mindset.

From onboarding to ex*****on, I'd say the structure was quite clear and welcoming.

The resources shared were very valuable and practical, including those extra pro courses that were made accessible to us for free to build ourselves. Honestly. I would have regretted it if I missed this space. 😭😂🤲🏽

On support and check-ins, I appreciate the effort the team puts into staying present. The Sunday weekly chats were insightful and served as good reminders to stay on track.

However, there were moments where engagement dropped slightly, and I feel it wasn't the team's fault tho, but ours, coz we got tired at some point.

What I've learned:
I’ve learned the importance of showing up even when it's uncomfortable, pushing through rejection, and understanding that growth is an ever-evolving process.

What I gained:
Clarity, improved confidence, access to AI tools, Community, using Google Workspace efficiently, and a better approach to handling opportunities and setbacks. Also, a stronger sense of accountability.

What I'm leaving with:
I'm leaving with resilience, practical knowledge, and a mindset shift to keep building, regardless of the pace.

What the team did well:
- Structured guidance
- Encouragement and motivation
- Creating a safe space to learn and try
- Guided resources are easy to plug in

Areas for improvement:
- Possibly smaller accountability groups for closer follow-up
- Clearer tracking of individual progress

Suggestions: - inclusion of more real-life case studies or live demonstrations

Overall, it was a valuable experience, and I truly appreciate the effort put into making it impactful. May Allah reward the team abundantly. 🤲🏽
Thank you so much for organising such a thoughtful space. Ma'am Gentletouch
