Before the exam, run a quick check: flash graphemes (sh, ai, -tch), say the sound in 2 seconds, then read 5 real words with it; finish by writing two spellings from memory. Do 10 minutes nightly—the shift from “I know that” to “I can grab it fast” is revision doing its job.
