It’s easier to say “sorry o” than to say “congratulations”. Sympathy is easier than praises. With sympathy I know I am better than you, if not for anything, at least in that moment. But to celebrate someone is completely different, to acknowledge their wins and growth. And that this is their moment. Most times the real good friend is one who is most happiest when you win, not just the wailer that comes around to cry with you.
