Honestly, running a food business is not easy. These things are getting more expensive every day, but we still have to keep pushing and make sure our customers get fresh and quality food. ❤️

The stress, the market runs, the expenses… only a business owner understands. 😂

A few weeks ago, we decided to add Fried Rice to the Crustee menu. 🍚🔥

To be honest, when we started, the sales were not really encouraging. 😅 It was one of those moments where you start asking yourself, “Are people even going to buy this?”

But we kept making it, kept putting it out there, and kept giving our customers the quality we wanted them to experience.

And guess what? The story is slowly changing. ❤️

The sales have been picking up, and seeing people order, enjoy it, and come back for more honestly makes us happy.

Sometimes in business, not everything blows up immediately. Some things just need time, consistency and patience. And that’s exactly what we’re learning with Crustee.

So yes… Fried Rice is here to stay! 😋🔥

Now the big question…

WHO IS READY FOR CRUSTEE JOLLOF RICE? 👀🍚🔥

A few years ago, I took the little capital I had and left my mum’s house with one goal: to start something of my own.

I honestly didn’t know exactly where the journey would take me. I just knew I wanted to build something I could be proud of.

I started small. Very small.

There were days when sales were terrible. Days I questioned myself. Days I wondered if I had made the right decision. I had to learn everything along the way
how to manage money, deal with customers, handle staff, make mistakes, fix those mistakes, and keep the business running even when I was tired.

There were moments I wanted to give up.

There were times things happened that made me feel like all my effort was going to waste.

But somehow, I kept going.

What started as a small idea has grown into something I sometimes have to stop and look at twice because I can’t believe how far we’ve come.

And today, seeing this renovated shop feels different.

Because I know what it took to get here.

I know the sleepless nights.
I know the sacrifices.
I know the money I put back into the business when I could have spent it on myself.
I know the disappointments.
I know the times I cried, got frustrated, wanted to quit
and still showed up the next day.

This shop isn’t just a shop to me.

It’s a reminder that small beginnings can become beautiful stories.

I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m definitely not where I started.

And for that, I’m genuinely grateful. ❤️
