Episode 1 of secentenced to be hero was mad awesome. What a peak of animation bomb. Just wow incredible animation, incredible story line.
This is a 10/10 score anime.

The battlefield of Shukai Plains is heating up! Today’s episode, "Rank Deficiency," showed us exactly why the next generation of Qin is not to be messed with. If you missed the action, here is the "Rex Recap" of everything you need to know:
🏆 THE MVP: MOUTEN TAKES CHARGE
After the chaos of Makou’s fall, the Left Wing was a heartbeat away from total collapse.
The Move: Mouten stepped up and proved why he’s the smartest man on the field. He didn't just lead; he manipulated the flow of the battle to save the Makou Army from annihilation.
The Reward: Ousen officially granted Mouten the temporary rank of GENERAL. The Gaku Ka Unit leader is officially leveling up!
⚔️ THE RIGHT WING: OUHON’S TRIAL
While the Left is stabilized, the Right Wing is turning into a nightmare.
The Threat: Zhao commander Chou Ga Ryuu has his sights set on Ouhon. They aren't just looking for a win; they are hunting the young commanders to break Qin’s spirit.
The Tension: Ouhon and the Gyoku Hou Unit are in for the fight of their lives.
🍷 THE CONTRAST: KANKI’S "CHILL" SIEGE
While everyone else is covered in blood and dirt, Kanki is seen casually enjoying a meal outside the walls of Gyou. He’s playing the ultimate waiting game, letting starvation do the work that swords can't.

Mouten The First of the Trio to Reach General Rank in Kingdom!
Fans of the epic historical anime and manga, Kingdom, often debate who among the "Young Trio" (Shin, Ouhon, and Mouten) would reach the coveted rank of Great General first. While all three are undeniably brilliant warriors and strategists, it was the strategic genius Mouten (Meng Tian) who earned his General's star first, under extraordinary circumstances during a critical war.
The Crisis on Shukai Plains
The pivotal moment came during the Western Zhao Invasion Arc, a brutal campaign that pushed the Qin army to its limits. On the very first day of battle at the Shukai Plains, disaster struck the Qin left wing.
The esteemed General Makou was shockingly assassinated by the formidable Zhao Great General Riboku, throwing his entire army into chaos. The collapse of this wing would have spelled immediate defeat for Qin.
Mouten's Battlefield Promotion
It was in this moment of sheer desperation that Mouten's brilliance shone brightest. Without hesitation, he took command of the disarrayed Makou forces. With incredible composure and tactical prowess, he managed to rally the broken army, stabilize the left wing, and prevent a catastrophic rout.
Recognizing the urgent need to maintain leadership and prevent total collapse, the supreme commander Ousen made an unprecedented decision: he promoted Mouten to General on the battlefield! This was not a customary promotion, but an emergency appointment born out of absolute necessity and Mouten's undeniable skill.

What started as pure betrayal in a dungeon turned into one of the most satisfying revenge fantasy stories this season. Watching the MC rise from being left for dead to building a Level 9999 squad through the Mugen Gacha was peak anime justice 🔥
