Difference between friend and frenemy

A friend is someone who truly supports you, stands by you, and wants to see you grow. Their loyalty is real, and their presence brings peace and trust.

A frenemy, on the other hand, acts like a friend but hides jealousy, competition, or negative intentions. They may smile with you, but their actions don’t fully match their words. Simply put, a friend builds you up, while a frenemy quietly pulls you down.
