Please I need advice from my fellow members. I'm a young girl of 22 years old, I got married on January 2019, by God's grace I gave birth on March 2020. My mum who is in her early 40s, though still looks very young and vibrant came for Omugwo as supposed. After about 2 month and 2 weeks, she was suppose to go back to the village, my hubby suggested she should stay at least another one mother since there was lock down, I hurriedly accepted not knowing that everything has its own reason. Since last week, my mum has been sick, I personally though it was malaria, I bought malaria drugs for her to no avail, so I decided to take her to the hospital, after several tests, it was found out that my mother is four weeks pregnant. Terrible! Not just being pregnant but my hubby is responsible for the pregnancy. I became absolutely mad. They are pleading for me to keep it secret, so that she will abort the baby before going to meet my daddy at village. What should I do?

Should I tell my Dad?

Should I quit the marriage?

Can I ever forgive both of them?

My heart is bursting into pieces.

Please help me guys?

As the COVID-19 Incident Commander for Lagos, I am glad to inform you that the index case; the Italian gentleman is now negative.

Through a combined effort of Lagos, Ogun State and Federal Health Authorities, we were able to limit the transmission of the virus to a single contact.

This involved aggressive contact tracing and containment strategies. However we now have several new imported cases and we hope we can apply the same contact tracing strategy along with social distancing to slow down the outbreak which may be brewing from these new cases.

The index patient consented to donating one unit of white blood (plasma) before he was discharged today. The blood plasma is rich in antibody proteins that target virus.

The white blood plasma is frozen in our Bio-bank and will be useful in handling new cases.

The blood plasma will be beneficial for the treatment of new patients in the absence of a defined therapeutic drug for yet.

The patient appreciated the exceptional care and support given to him by staff of the infectious Disease Hospital,Yaba and all members of the EOC.

The EOC team was extremely happy to bid the patient farewell.

Once again, we will like to convey the enthusiasm of the team to do the very best possible in handling incidents of .

*SAFETY TIPS FOR MEN ( In this era of wives stabbing their husbands to death).*
1. If you return home late and your wife is nagging, sneak quietly to your room and lock the door behind you.
2. Never go and be quarrelling with her in the kitchen. Remember, that's her armoury and defense headquarters.
3. If you discover she has seen some exhibits on your phone, run away from home and report yourself to the police.
4. If you return home and she's not greeting you but pretending to be cutting nails, stay afar off and start reciting Psalm 23. Repeat that area that says "Even if I walk in the valley of shadows of death, I fear no evil, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me"
5. When you discover you have sinned, don't ask for food that day at all because asking for food is another provocation.
6. If you can't do without talking, buy superglue and seal your mouth. Always walk around the kitchen to remove sharp objects like spoon, fork, knife etc.

OKADA RESTRICTION: LASG Rolls out 65 Buses as Palliative Measures

…Govt To Inject 550 Buses For Feeder Routes

Lagos State Government has rolled out 65 high capacity buses in addition to the existing buses as part of palliative measures to the restriction of commercial motorcycles and tricycles in parts of the State.

The Managing Director of Lagos Bus Services Limited, Idowu Oguntona, announced this deployment at a press conference in Lagos on Monday.

Oguntona disclosed that these buses, which started work today have recorded about 10,000 customers in the early hours of today, adding that the 65 buses will convey a total of 35,000 Lagosians daily.

He also disclosed that the buses will ply seven routes across the affected areas.

“We are here today to witness the official deployment of additional 65 buses into the bus service to basically ease the current pressure that may be experienced on Lagos roads.

“We have Oshodi-Ajah, Inner Marina-Ajah, Obalende-Ajah and CMS-Ajah. Addressing the challenge in Ikeja, you have Ikeja-Ojota, Ikeja-Ogba, Berger-Ojota.

“Those are the seven routes the 65 buses will be deployed on and the impact will be such that at least 35,000 Lagosians will be in a very efficient, safe manner across the Metropolis,” he said.

Speaking on the question of introducing mini buses to ply the nook and crannies of Lagos, Oguntona assured that 550 medium capacity vehicles for feeder routes will be injected as soon as possible.

He said: “We recognize the fact that some of the buses cannot go on the feeder roads, so the plan is to inject 550 medium capacity buses that can carry about 30 people and those mini buses will be deployed on the feeder roads, so there won't be any significant impact of the ban on commuters.”

The Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration has restricted commercial motorcycles and tricycles in some Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Authorities due to flagrant disobedience to traffic regulations and total disregard for safety by operators among other reasons.

Govt hails compliance with restriction of Motorcycles and Tricycles

…65 New Buses For New, Old Routes Monday
…14 Ferries Join Waterways Tuesday

The government of Lagos State praises motorcycle and tricycle operators for complying with the restriction from six local government areas, major highways and bridges. The enforcement of the State Security Council’s order began on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
The level of compliance was over 90 %. In fact, some of the ride hailing companies directed their riders to obey the directive. This is commendable. The high level of compliance has shown that Lagosians agree with the government on the need to stop the danger that commercial motorcycles and tricycles have become - a big threat to safety of lives and security of our people. They should stand firm in supporting the government.
The little discomfort experienced by commuters on some routes due to the absence of motorcycles and tricycles is noted. This will not last as alternatives are being rolled out.
A fleet of 65 buses will join the others on some major routes as from Monday , February 3, 2020: No less than 550 more buses are being expected. Besides, 14 ferries will be commissioned on Tuesday. This will further open up the waterways, reduce travel time on various routes and provide safe, dependable and comfortable alternatives for commuters.

The government is not unaware that enforcing this directive may lead to some job losses. The Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, plans to announce some measures to tackle the likely effects of the order, besides the programmes of various agencies, such as the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Office of Civic Engagement, Lagos State Parks and Gardens and others.

The government hereby warns all those who are planning to unleash violence on the state because of the ongoing enforcement to have a change of heart. Lagosians are peace loving and law abiding people, who will not embrace any disruption of their legal activities by failed politicians hiding under the evil of unwholesome activism. The law enforcement agents have been directed to ensure that nobody takes the law into his hands. The government places a very high premium on law and order in the interest of all Lagosians. It will not fail to act when peace is threatened.
