NO MORE TREATMENT UNDER NEEM TREE.. THE STORY IS CHANGING

For many years, residents of Gunduma community in Gassol, Taraba State, received treatment under a Neem tree amongst other infrastructure gaps they were faced with.

We got wind of this issue in 2024 during a PHC profiling exercise. We reported to necessary agencies like the Commissioner for Health and the Executive Secretary of the Taraba State Primary Health Care Development Agency.

Our sustained engagement led to the completion of the PHC facility and we’re following up for continued improvements.

In Dec 2025, N26m was paid to Dorcella Company Limited for the Completion Of The Ongoing Ejinrin Community Hall, Epe LGA, Lagos State.

We tracked and report that the hall has been painted, roofed, and fitted with 10 two-horsepower air-conditioning units.

However, furniture has not been supplied and it has not been opened for use since February.

We call on Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute 'NBRRI', the implementing agency to provide the public with details of this project.

In Dec 2025, N6.7m was paid to GREAT CLASSIC CONSTRUCTORS LTD for the Supply Of 1 Regular Ambulance At Imota General Hospital, Imota LCDA, Ikorodu, Lagos state.

We tracked and report that this project has been completed. The ambulance has been supplied.

In Feb 2025, N389m was paid to MONNEX GLOBAL RESOURCES for the Upgrade Of Infrastructure In Senior Secondary School Oriwu College Ikorodu, Lagos state.

We tracked and report that this project is ongoing. On one of the buildings the roofing structure is in place, while blockwork is ongoing on the second structure.

We also observed construction materials, including timber and other building components on site.

We will keep tracking to ensure quality work is done.

From March to August 2025, a total of N156m was paid to MESSRS DAISYGO CONCEPT LTD for the Provision of Solar Powered Street Light in Selected Communities of Somolu LGA, Lagos state.

We tracked and report that this project is ongoing. Over 60 solar street lights were installed across Issac John Street and along Igbobi College Road.

We will keep tracking to ensure this project is completed.

Last month, our Rivers state officer, Mercy Eze attended a Regional Dialogue on Environmental Clean Up Issues and The Way Foward. A regional conference for enviromental sustainability held in Rivers state.

In Feb 2025 N13m was paid to Mega Stet Nig Ltd for the Construction of 2 Blocks Of 3 Classrooms With Toilets In Eletu Odibo Junior High School, Abule Oja, Yaba, Lagos State.

We tracked and report that a single-storey classroom block has been constructed, with roofing and painting also done. However, the surrounding environment needs to be addressed.

Landscaping of the school surroundings must be done immediately as visible pools of stagnant water, muddy areas, and construction debris has taken over, causing health and safety concerns,for pupils and staff.

We call on Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, Nigeria, the implementing agency to facilitate the landscaping of this school.

N150m was allocated to Construction of Modern Townhall, Rumomasi Town Rivers State in the 2025 FG Budget.

We tracked and report that this project has not been done.
There is no visible evidence to indicate the proposed townhall has commenced.
However the old community townhall is being renovated through a private intervention.

We call on TO THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERATION, the implementing agency, to provide the public with details of this project and facilitate its ex*****on.
