Some of these customers come through paid ads that we invest heavily in. Some conversations stretch late into the night as we try to respond promptly and professionally (yes, even when sleep is calling). It can be quite exhausting—following up, waiting for responses, checking messages like maybe today they’ll reply… and still, nothing.

Honestly, a simple message saying I’m no longer interested or I’ve gotten the item elsewhere would save everyone time and energy. Ghosting may be free, but it’s very costly on the receiving end.

Respecting people’s time and effort goes a long way in business.
