There’s a cancer that shows up in children under 5 and the first sign appears in a photograph.

It is not a hospital scan, not a doctor’s report but regular photo you took on your phone.

When a child has retinoblastoma, one or both eyes glow white instead of red in flash photography. Most parents delete the picture or blame the camera. Some even laugh about it.

Retinoblastoma is one of the most treatable childhood cancers but only when it’s caught early.
